One of the Metroplexes best kept secrets...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/18/07
I was attending a training program for my company a short time ago. Being from the DFW I never realized that this was available to the public, I always assumed it was just for AA. Once I arrived the Front Desk staff took excellent care of me and catered to my special request. I will admit the rooms were small but they were sufficient being that I was there for learning and progressing my career. They were very clean rooms with excellent connection to internet. The meeting space and food was top notch, the staff made me feel like I was at home. The Chef came out and greeted the tables in the Dining Area. I know our company will be providing additional training there in the future, I look forward to going again.

Never go here on business during the winter!!!
By Russ K, 02/06/07
Pool and hot tub were "seasonal" and the wireless was horrible. Rooms were like college dorms - small, cramped and the closets had a wierd "home depot" panelling. People were nice.

If I wasn't training here I wouldn't stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/05
This place is awful. If my company didn't send me here for training I wouldn't even bother giving them money! 1st the front desk people are mean! Trinidad is nice but everyone else is mean, they act like your imposing on them asking them questions. 2nd you have to pay to use the gym! It's about $7 a day to use it. Or you can get a monthly membership for $25.01. 3rd the rooms are awful, out of date and small! The carpets are so old that it smells like an retirement home! It's so cramped in there that if you have to room with a co-worker your stepping on each other. It's smaller than a dorm room. And the bathrooms need to be remodeled! The floors were so scary I never took my flip flops off. A few positives though you have to pay to use the gym it has state-of-the-art equipment with aerobics classes. The heated pool is very nice goes from 3ft to 8ft. Next to the pool is a hot tub which is very relaxing. A volleyball and tennis court and there's an outside running trail with mini obstacle course along the way. The restaurants are nice with a really nice staff. And the training rooms are nice also. I would only recommend this hotel if your company is sending you down here and you have no choice but to stay here. Other than that stay somewhere else where you don't have to worry about the staff wanting to gauge your eyes out when you need your questions answered.
