All I could ever ask for!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/07
There is only one word to describe the Ritz: Luxury! Everything was comfortable and relaxing. Absolutely perfect! The pool was great and the rooms were outstanding. We stayed in a high-class suite and everything was to our liking. I definetaly recommend this hotel!

Extremely poor service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/06/07
Arrived to enjoy a pre-matinee luncheon. At first service was fine but they seemed to forget about us as time went on. Our water glasses were never refilled and when, after our meal, we waited for quite awhile with no service, my 10 year old really needed to use the ladies room. We left our coats and sunglasses at the table but we were practically chased into the lobby to ask if we were leaving. When we returned, we ordered dessert and tea. Our table had been cleaned including napkins and silverware. When the dessert and tea arrived we had to request napkins mid-course as they were never replaced. I was very surprised. The food was good but nothing special and I'll not be dining here again.

location was perfect
By travel qa, 02/11/07
The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

Can't live without the Ritz-Carlton
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/27/06
I loved the staff, every time I walked to the lobby they knew my name. I loved that!! My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary with the kids, and they loved the club lounge and all the cookies in the world.

Great!
By DMW, 11/01/05
I stayed here in 2004. I loved it. It's a very modern, well put together hotel. Everytime I go back to Boston I stay at this great place. The hotel bar is great fun and you'll see some beautiful people hop in and back out. Definitely a must see. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

The Best of the Best
By KathiK, 09/29/05
This hotel has it all. Not only is the hotel itself perfect, so is the location – it is central to uptown, downtown, theaters, shopping, historical sites and the beautiful Boston Public Gardens and Boston Common. You can stay in the hotel and be pampered or venture out on a short stroll and be right in the heart of the chic Newbury St. district.

Love this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Location is in close proximity to plenty of great bars and restaurants. Not far from Newberry St, Boston Commons and Quincy Market and the T.

How to Know Great from Good
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
A veteran of Luxury hotels, I expect perfection. I did not get it with several blunders. The room was not made up all day desite my calling to tell them I accidently left the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. The room service food was late. A few other things. But.....each error was well corrected. The food that was late was free and they added "Anything you would like to add you may at no charge". I received a note the night before check out that the manager wanted to talk to me. He was very sorry for the error and cut the bill in 1/2. Other than the well corrected errors, I found everything as it should be and then some. So, I give it the best rating as you really get to know a place when it gets things wrong.

Talk about put'n on the ritz!
By JohnnyBlueEyes, 09/25/05
Talk about put'n on the ritz! I stayed there on buisness and I have never felt so luxuriouse, all i can say is it was an amazing facillity. Just there gym alone was one of the best I had ever been to, including the steam rooms and the carpeted floor with wood lockers inside the locker room far exceeded my own personal gym.Not to mention the variety of workout machines to choose from. The hallways are a thing of beauty just leading to the cream filled center-your quarters. Equipped with a georgouse full bathroom made with the finest quality finishings to match the equaly made room. If I get the choice from my buisness of the top leading places to stay at again hands down I choose the Ritz-Carlton.-John

An Unforgetable Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/24/05
The Ritz Carlton Boston Common is a unique addition to Boston! Finally a hotel with the flair to draw the younger generations with the same great service and product expected by the Ritz Carlton name!
