I stay in the Adana Hilton on a regular basis as I pass thru the city for work related issues. I'm a Diamond by now so I get access to the Exec Lounge. Nice views, unlimited food and drink. I also use points to stay at other Hiltons around the world so can compare this hotel to Hiltons in many other world cities. How does the Adana Hilton compare? Very very well. 9.5 out of 10. The rooms are clean, everything works, the Turkish staff are the most courteous, helpful and kind that you'll meet anywhere. Management has done a good job with their training. From the airport, as of Nov 2008, the cost will be 13 Lira or 10 USD to get to the hotel. Adana itself, Turkey's #4 city in size, is not all that exciting but there are a few decent places to eat in the downtown area. If you have a choice, and you should, choose a room overlooking the Seyhan River to the west. A mirror image of the huge Sabanci Mosque to the north stands magnificent in the river. To the south is the old Roman bridge, still in excellent location and recently spruced up. In the far distance, on a clear day, you can see the Toros Mountains. Snow capped if the months are right. In conclusion, the Adana Hilton is a pleasant surprise amongst the Hilton Family. I recommend it. The staff is exceptional, the views outstanding, the layout welcoming but the city ho-hum.

I stay in the Adana Hilton quite often. The rooms are nice, but, the air conditioning is shut off during the middle of the night leaving the room stuffy and the televisions do not work properly either. The bed is as hard as a rock, although they do have a nice selection of pillows. The service is up and down depending on what manager is there, sometimes they get the room service right, I have had to wait up to three hours for a meal to arrive. The location is good and the travel to and from the airport is great since taxis wait at either place for you to be picked up. Do not go there expecting a five star hotel or you will be let down.

When I lived in Adana, my friends and I used to go to the Sunday brunch at the Hilton Adana whenever we could. A combination of traditional American, Continental, and Turkish foods, layed out in buffet fashion. The champagne brunch is reasonably priced, and the service is excellent. The hotel itself is near an historic Roman bridge, still used to this day. The upper floors provide sweeping views of the entire city. Definitely the most comfortable and hospitable of any hotel in Adana.

The location of this hotel is perfect. A short taxi ride to and from Adana Airport. The cost of the ride about $10 to $14 USD. The taxi accepts both USD as well as Turkish money. The hotel is beautiful and most of the staff speak some English. If not, here is your chance to learn Turkish. The only dislike I can point out is allowing people to smoke in the Executive Lounge. The lounge is to small for this activity. They should ban Smoking in the lounge. Also, you can take snacks out of the lounge to your room, but, you have to return their plates, etc back to the lounge.

The Hilton is located very close to the airport. The cab fare is between $10 - 15 USD. This hotel has everything that you are used to in the West. The staff and facilities are wonderful. If you have a very early departure there are taxi cabs positioned outside the main doors.

I have stayed at the Hilton Adana on many occasions on business and feel comfortable with the wonderful hospitality and service received. The morning breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant is one of my favorites in the world with American and Mediterranean/Middle Eastern fare. There are shops located on the entrance floor level as well as an ATM just outside the front doors. The view of the world's second largest mosque is spectacular day or night!! The hotel is just a short taxi ride away from the city's marketplace and spice markets as well as Incerlik AFB which contains many small shops. It is definetly a great bargain and my top pick when staying in Adana.
