I wouldn't stay hereagain

The walls were paper thin. You could hear everyone coming and going. There was alot of noise all hours. The tub was dirty. The drapes didn't fully close. The bed was not great and hard. The breakfest wasn't great either. I wouldn't stay here again.

Wonderful Experience...

Wedding Weekend..... This is a great place to stay. We held the wedding rehearsal dinner here..they were wonderful to work with...the food and service was excellent. We stayed in one of the suits with an adjoining room...it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They served a great breakfast. The staff was great. I would recommend this Comfort Inn to anyone.

Real Poor Check-In experience

After driving all day, I was hoping for a nice and easy check-in. When I approached the front desk, there was a rather heated discussion between a manager and a couple employees about conditions at the hotel. Surprisingly, they didn't stop so I got quite an earfull, unfortunately. Later during my stay, I came to the desk to ask about local restaurants and no one was there. Other than that, it was a fairly normal stay and nothing out of the ordinary happened.

Bad experience, won't stay there again!

After spending an exhausting day at the hospital with our daughter, we returned to the Comfort Inn around 11 PM to find a party going on in our hallway. I immediately called the front desk to complain, since we were going straight to bed. At midnight, they finally got the kids to move into their room, which was right next door. The party continued and I called the front desk after 1 AM to complain again. They quieted down for about ½ hour, then started up again. This went on all night long with calls to the front desk and nothing being done. My wife only got 2 hours of sleep that night and I didn’t get any sleep at all. Instead of a good night’s sleep we were exhausted when were went to the hospital again the next day. I complained to the desk clerk the next day and left my name and number asking for the manager to call me. I never heard from him. This place doesn’t care about its guests. We will never stay there again.

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!

I usually stay in Ann Arbor, but my usual hotel was booked and I was looking for another Choice hotel. I had heard nice things about Chelsea, so I decided to stay at the Comfort Inn there. I'm glad I did. The place was great. Blair checked me in and was very helpful on what to do in town. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was one of the cleanest I have stayed in in a long time, and I travel alot. I highly recommend this place.

Very willing and polite

The first time I stayed the tolet broke in the middle of the night, In my pj I waited till morning to let them know I expected an apology or for then to give me a deal on my next stay. they also don't put conditioner in the room. If you ask before you book the room they will double stock for you. But I was not too happy to have to go to the desk to ask for everything. Also, they do not mention that you are not to leave your dog in the room alone and if the next room complain about barking you have to pay for their room as well and you have to sign a contract. they are pet tolerant but not friendly.But it was friendly clean and convenient so it worked out.

Hidden Treasure

The staff was helpful and friendly and the location was so convenient, we just love Chelsea. To think all the times we've had to deal with Ann Arbor traffic, especially during football season, when we could've stay at this mini-resort that is so quiet and safe. We'll definitely be back!

A mixed bag

Chelsea is a small town, and the Comfort Inn shares the advantages and disadvantages of this. The staff is friendly and helpful, but many seem to be local teens and are inexperienced. There are many rooms that provide handicap access; the walk-in showers seem oversize for people who are not disabled. The hotel also offers spa rooms; these have large tubs in the bedroom area that take away from the space that would otherwise be available -- not as desirable as they sound. Many of the people who stop here are families with children. The indoor pool is a nice feature for them, but it helps to contribute to noise in the halls as they come and go to it from their rooms.

Clean & Confortable

This hotel was very nice -- CLEAN! Our room was large and comfortable. I was a little disappointed on the first morning when I found a note under my door informing me that if I wasn't out of the room by 11:00, I would not receive any maid service. My husband and I left our children at home and we relish sleeping in on these occasions. Now we had to hustle around to make sure we were out by 11:00. Ironically, the maids were still in the building (across from our room, in fact) when we arrived back later that afternoon. My only other complaint was the noise. There were many children in the hotel that weekend, and they were running up and down the halls and yelling. When we checked out, we mentioned it to the front desk and they apologized and gave us an addition $15 off our bill. Apparently there was a birthday party at the hotel. I would definately stay at this hotel again, as I believe the noise was just an unfortunate, unusual occurance.
