Comfort Suites Carmel, Carmel

I have stayed at this place many times in the past year and have always been happy but this last stay was horrible. The room was filthy. Dusty, the mirror was dirty, stuff in the fridge, the carpet didn't look swept, there was hair in the bed sheets, and hair all over the bathroom. The TV was missing channels. I addressed my concerns to the front desk guy and the lady that said she was the regional manager filling in as the general manager. She was extremely rude. She made poor excuses for the problems and didn't solve anything. I was very disappointed. The hotel needs remodeling but what they lacked was always made up for by the customer service of the staff and the lady that used to be the general manager. I won't be going back and wouldn't reccomend this hotel to anyone anymore.

I was there for 3 nights for pre-op testing. Will be back end of April. Mark at the front desk was awesome!!! Needed extra towels got them quickly, requested for our room not to be cleaned, so we needed some coffee he said would get it right away and he did!!! I was in shock! Mark you rock..I hope your boss sees this and you get plenty of recognition not to mention a raise. Breakfast was just fine and bed was very comfy not too hard and not too soft. Breakfast was fully stocked for me and the entire hotel was very clean. Maybe princess didnt pay attention to the breakfast hours. P.S. Princess try taking a shower you dirty pig.

Well let me start off by stating that the overall cleanliness of the room was poor. My wife and I went down to the pool to have a nice swim. When we got into the pool it was ice cold and the spa was barely warm. When we went to bed my wife and I both started feeling like we were being bitten by something and we were itching. I went to the front desk and reported this and got moved to another room but the same thing happened. We woke up with red bumps all over our bodies. We went down for breakfast but the breakfast was horrible. We were here last year in September and the food was great but I noticed the same lady is not working in the breakfast area now. I remember how friendly she was. She greeted us when we come into the breakfast area and talked with us for a minute and when we left told us to have a good day. Maybe breakfast would have been better if she were there. But this time the ham was all dried out and the eggs were as well. They were out of pastries and yogurt and fruit. The waffle maker was not very clean and waffles kept sticking. We actually had to leave and have breakfast at McDonalds. We will not be staying here again!

My husband and I have stayed at alot of nice hotels all across the country. However, this hotel is the best hands down. The front desk agent Kyle was amazing. For starters, he made our checkin very quick, and made sure that we had a room that met all of our expectations before we left the desk. He was answering phones, checking people in, taking extra items to rooms, and still found time to bake cookies for the guests. The ownership should be very proud of whoever decided to hire Kyle. Anyway, I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is a very nice clean property, and even has a hidden park behind it. Very safe location for shopping and has a great variety of places to eat. Do yourself a favor and stay at this place.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I really liked the beds, I was told by the guy at the front desk that they had recently had a make-over in all of the rooms. I slept like a log.
