the beds were unmade. the room wasn't cleared. the hide-a-bed wasn't made either. i wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel is being masked by sprays. It stinks! terribly! Not a good sign. There was mold on the curtain, the tub took 20 minutes to clear for the next person to get in and shower. There was so much dust on the furniture you can tell that the housekeeping crew only cleans the bathrooms, does the beds and vaccums. This hotel has gone down the drain since we last visited in the early part of 2008. We had been here several times before and it wasn't bad, it was a great hotel for us that travel frequently, The location and the friendly staff in the breakfast area continue to be the only good things there. Unless you can take the stench and the massive sprayings, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at this time. Before we left we advised the front desk of the problems encountered and all the clerk said was that no one else had complained about room 219 but did send up the maintenance guy to look into the plumbing. $$ wise it was a good deal before all this.

it is right near blue bayou and it has an awsome view and it is just a very nice hotel!!! It is a great family hotel for you and your children! It was a blast!

The "Hot Breakfast Buffet" listed on the hotel overview was misleading. It was basically a continental breakfast with a few hot items such as oatmeal. It was nothing like other hotels we've stayed at that advertised "Hot Breakfast Buffet". It was crowded and disorderly. We ended up going out for breakfast. Even more disturbing was the knock on our door at midnight, by the hotel front desk clerk. He made several attempts to persuade us to open the door. After repeatedly refusing, he finally asked about a pizza box that had been left outside of our door (apparently by another guest). He stated that he was concerned about attracting roaches. My husband and I did not understand why the clerk would insist on entering our room over a pizza box. (Why would anyone want food that was left on the floor in the hall?) We had a hard time going back to sleep as we worried about the security of the hotel. We had our small children in the room with us.

Very professional and friendly staff. We liked the warm, clean pool. The rooms were immaculate. Puffy pillows. Close to the interstate, but could not hear the traffic, when quiet air conditioner was on. The complimentary breakfast is quite good and the dining area very clean. Big choice of decaf teas for those avoiding caffeine. The fitness room is very clean and with a great elliptical, as well as treadmills. The hotel smells so fresh, the minute you enter the front door. Beautifully landscaped...well-lit parking lot.
