Excellent Hotel
Stayed for business and enjoyed the hotel. Excellent staff and breakfast. Front desk person named Princess is a top notch rep for the hotel. Not a full service hotel, but close enough to many restaurants, so it's not a big deal. Recommend highly

Extended stay ---- wonderful
I work for the large company one of the other reviewers is talking about. I stayed here for three weeks and would recommend this hotel to anyone! Hot breakfast in the morning is complimentary --- the shuttle is always suiting customers' needs --- probably why someone had trouble with it. Fresh cookiers throughout the day. Beautiful "shopping" center with many restaurants near by. Very comfortable beds, excellent A/C in the room. Bathrooms are spotless and the housekeeping is perfect. For the price, you won't find better. I just hope this short review does the hotel justice. No complaints whatsoever.

Nice, but a tad disorganized....
By Kiwigirl, 8/2/08
My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to an anniversary night out and reserved the Romantic Weekend package. Let me admit upfront, this was a very last minute decision and we booked online about an hour ahead of our arrival. The package included a bottle of non-alcoholic bubbly at arrival, and room service for breakfast, the latter being a very appealing option. At check-in we were told breakfast is self-serve from the lobby, that they did not provide room service. When I questioned this, the registration staff commented she was knew in the job, but would ask her supervisor and would call our room to let us know how to place a breakfast order. By 10pm, and no phone call, I decided to call the Front Desk. The phones did not work. I was able to reach them on my cell and was again told she would call me back. At 11:15pm the phone rang (at least we knew it was working!) and it was the Front Desk to say they were sending someone up with an order form for breakfast. I have to say, the selections were quite impressive for a typically self-serve deal, and breakfast arrived on time the next morning. Unfortunately, half the order was missing (my husband's selections) and there was only one set of utensils (everything else was clearly for two people, as was indicated on the order form). Once reminded, the bottle of bubbly showed up with breakfast, but without a bottle opener. Breakfast was very good though. I was also surprised to see a desk/chair arrangement in an otherwise "romantic weekend" room. We had taken dinner with us to the hotel, but there was no where to sit and eat. A small round table with a couple of chairs would have been a better choice for this type of room. I know this all sounds very petty, and it probably is, but sometimes it's the little things that also matter. Overall, the motel was very, very clean, pretty, comfortable king sized bed, nice jacuzzi whirlpool in the bedroom, and a great location. I would stay here again, but next time I would go over all the smaller details with staff beforehand, so that expectations are clearn on both sides.

Business Travelers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/8/07
I stayed at this hotel for 9 weeks last year on business travel. It's not a five star hotel, but it's good for what it is. The location is nice, with restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was always good. There is a major company in the area that uses this hotel heavily. This can lead to a crowd in the morning when they are having training classes. Likewise, it can lead to a crowded lobby at night. We had a bad experience with the airport shuttle. Five of us were on the same shuttle. On the way to the hotel, more of our coworkers called the for shuttle. But when we got to the hotel, the only other person working told the driver to 'wait until they call twice.' Even when we questioned this and told them how long they had been waiting, it took a while for the driver to leave again. Still an overall good hotel that I would visit again.

Fantastic!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/5/06
The lobby of the hotel was very attractive and cozy. The staff at the front desk was courteous and check-in went fast and smooth. The hotel room was very comfortable and nice. The room was very clean and everything was in great condition. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The hotel is in a great location - very close to shops, eating places, and roadways. Overall, my stay at the Hampton Inn Dulles was perfect!

My best hotel experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/9/04
Everything you would expect was there. What was more than expected was the fine breakfast and the Bag Breakfast to Go in case you had to leave early. Personnel could not treat you better.
