Read some reviews before we went..was sceptical. Ran out of toilet tissue and kleenex after being there 1 hr. The room didn't smell odd, as reviews state, but there was no exhaust fan in bathroom and the room was musty and too warm quite often. The heater/fan, didn't work our last day there. The juice and water machine were out of order, the last morning we were there, a large wedding party had stayed the night and there was only one lady there to take care of all things for breakfast. The orange juice was 100% concentrate without water added, hot water was out. The beds were comfortable, though the comforter was too hot, given the room temp. The staff were very helpful. The pool water was yellow, yikes! We had a nice stay, just interesting, given the cost. The bar and interstate were noisy as well, though that can't be helped.
This was one of the worst business trips I have ever had. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns before and never had a problem. I was given a room with two queen beds after I had reserved a king. The wireless internet worked only sporadically. The housekeeping staff was horrible, interrupting and knocking on the door and slamming doors up the hallway all morning while I was trying to work in my room.
The "business center" has two computers; neither one of them would print (after I had to ask for paper to load in them) and the web connection was very slow.
The pool was very hot one day and freezing the next. The breakfast was next to inedible; I had to settle for yogurt as the fruit was half rotten and the hash/eggs/cheese was one melted glob of fat. The whole hotel smells of mildew. the staff says they are eaget to help, but when I complained they did nothing.
I hope this location is not representative of the chain as a whole because the whole experience was unacceptable, and I have stayed at many Hamptons over the years.
Everyone was great. The front desk was very helpful and very nice.
Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The room was outstanding. Great beds. We will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Billings from now on. This was a very special trip for my granddaughter and I. Thank you for making it wonderful for us.
This is the best hotel in Billings for the price. I've stayed at most of the higher end hotels in the area and for comfort, cleanliness, and amenities this place rocks! The down side is the location. It is a little difficult to get to and if you are in Billings for shopping or medical reasons it is not convenient for either. Interstate, gas station and fast food are all real close to the hotel. But with the continental breakfast they serve, you can't lose!
Even if it has higher rates then most places, the staff is friendly & always willing to help you out. Most hotels ignore you if you have problems, but this one is staffed with can-do attitudes. They really do try to help you out. If something is wrong with the room they will fix it straight away. The hotel is a little out of the way on roads, but totally well worth it. Get lost? They will guide you back to the hotel or provide city maps to help you get around. I seriously thought at first the price was high, but with the staff totally worth it. You pay for excellent staff at this hotel.
Everyone that we came in contact with was very friendly. We were impressed on the first night when the front desk called and asked if everything was alright and if we needed anything. Overall we had a very good experience.
Hampton Inn Billings turned out to be the last hotel room availability in town, though, I was a bit reluctant to book the room because they are a bit pricier compared to other hotels in town. But, I'm so glad I did! Mine had been a busy and hectic week i.e., I had been on-the-go for several days, in the dreaded summertime heat, and not looking forward to spending an entire day or two at the Billings Livestock Horse Sale Barn cause my back and feet were killing me already. However, after one night's restful 8-hour sleep, on a more comfortable bed than I have at home, I couldn't believe how much better I felt! So good, in fact, I stayed a second night! The beds are unbelievably comfortable ~ just perfect! I always travel with my pillow, and usually have to pull it out for comfort, but at this hotel it never even made it to the bed, the linens are absolutely perfect! Give it a try. I promise, when in Billings, you won't stay anywhere else again! Their morning continental breakfast is great, too!
