Worth the money

The hotel is under new ownership and the room was great. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because there is always room for improvement.

Decent place, great price.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/29/07
After reserving a room here through Hotwire.com I read the other reviews on this site and got worried! When we arrived, there was a sign outside indicating "Under New Management". This must have made quite a difference. Everything was efficiently run, the management was pleasant and cheerful. The room was tidy and very clean. Access was easy being on a main road and several fast food establishments were close by. Overall this was a good place to stay at a great price. I would go there again without any hesitation.

We were scared to death!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/07
Our king size non smoking room was actually two double beds that reeked of cigarettes. Guess what? the hot tub is still broken. Our key card would not let us in the pool room so the cleaning lady had to let us in. She could not turn on the lights in the pool room or for the pool, so she told us to swim in the dark. It was like a horror flick. It was bare bones and no amenities. To top it off, the double latch to lock the door from the inside had been removed!!

Not Recommended
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/06
We requested a non-smoking room, instead got a smoking room with cigarette stains on furniture, bathroom floor and blanket! It was the last room available, so we stayed, but we won't come back. $94 room w/o movies, refrig, microwave, restaurant, hair dryer. One tiny towel each and bare minimum soap and tiny shampoo--that's it! Overpriced for a smelly room. Continental breakfast was minimal as well, went to Starbucks instead.

Never Again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/06
The room was spacious and clean, except for the dried blood on the ceiling over the bed. There were no refrigerator or microwave as listed in the amenities online. The manager came to the door because someone had called to complain that there was a baby crying, I told him there was nothing wrong, just them being kids, he shook his head at me. When I went downstairs to ask for a different room because we really needed a fridge for my 2 year old daughter's milk, the desk person called the manager and reffered to us as 'you know the people with the kids,' and then said sorry we don't have any open rooms with fridges, when they have over 300 rooms, and only 10 cars in the parking lot. Went to get some ice to make a make shift cooler in the sink, and the ice machine was not even plugged in! The pool was freezing, the elevators didnt want to dock to open the door. It was horrible. I will never stay there again.

What hotel has no ice??
By C, 08/30/05
There was no cable TV (as listed), "all" ice machines were broken, the hot tub was broken and roped off like a crime scene. The "onsite restaurant" didn't even open until noon (after checkout time). Our tub didn't drain and no one answered when I used the EMERGENCY phone. The room was acceptable. The desk help was rude and busy with personal endeavors. Location was good. Easy to find. Parking was great. McD's and Taco Bell within walking distance. Coffee provided in lobby and in room (and was good).
