Most disppointing stay anywhere, ever

Came for Bike week October 2010. Booked two months ahead, Was told credit card was for deposit ONLY -- wrong!. Was charged the total amount.when we received the next bill.
On arrival they said only one parking space per condo, (one bedroom with sofabed so slept 4). We brought a bike and a car. When we booked ahead we were guaranteed parking for both. One week prior we verified this with the Resort Desk. Same answer. Parking was crucial so we asked about it everywhere we called. On arrival they said only one vehicle per condo with two vehicle parking if another couple shared our condo! (so, common sense would tell you that there were two spaces allotted per condo!) We even offered to pay for the additional parking space or park both the bike and car in the same space since the car was a small sports car and were refused. It then seemed that they were being unreasonable for the sake of being unreasonable. I asked if I could cancel and go elsewhere, I was told call a number they provided, They said they had a review process and would give us an answer about the refund in a few weeks!
I had to pay to park the bike at the Hilton which was two blocks away. The manager kept saying the hotel and deck were full but we checked morning and night and there were numerous parking spaces unused. It was very obvious the hotel was nowhere near full.
The room was clean--looked fresh and new,but plumbing was needy. Toilet and sink stopped up daily. The staff sent a worker who poured some stuff in and said it was fixed,but it was not!. I became the plumber with the on site plunger.
Tried to turn lights on and a circuit blew,Had to call for assistance. Forget the hot tubs. On arrival I noticed one was roped off due to someone defacating in it. Lazy river was dirty and unheated.. Pools dirty. Security a reminder of some police state. Constant patroling and staring. I asked one guard why so much security? She said " its bike week and the hotel thinks some bikers will come in who do not belong here ".
The manager,was combative and failed to help in any way He wrote a parking pass for me on the last night so we could load up. The security wrote a parking ticket for my bike anyway, They overlooked the pass placed in plain view on the windshield.
The only good thing to say was the room was clean.
The hotel lied to us about the parking, I guess, to get the reservation and caused a great deal of inconvience and anxiety. The staff at the check in desk were slow appeared to be unfamiliar with their duties and unconcerned with all but your money.
Contrary to what were were told on the telephone, they DID handle walkins and took payment by credit card at the desk.
WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN !!! WE WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE EVER..PERIOD !!
