Country Inn Stes Crystal Lake, Crystal Lake

Pros - the breakfast in the morning was good. The location of the hotel is in a great spot for stores and restaurants. Cons - stayed 4 days and my back was killing me....they need new mattress. Under a tornado watch and we were told to go into our bathroom on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Not very safe! I would not stay here again when I travel back to Chicago.

This was a great place to stay!!! Location was great everything was great except for one thing.. The pool and hot tub!!!! The pool was so cold you couldn't get in it... and the hot tub was so hot you couldn't stay in it.. The jets in the hot tub were weak... I picked this hotel for the pool and hot tub and spent no time in it.. I would not stay there again because of that...

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again.

THe staff at the country inn was so friendly and accommodating, they were always willing to bend over backwards for us. We have stayed at the other hotels in crystal lake, like the holiday inn and comfort inn, but the country inn was by far the cleanest hotel. Our room was spotless. THe complimentary breakfast that the hotel offered had so much to choose from, you were not leaving hungry. It is a great place and I reccommend it ro everyone.
