Amazing!!!!!!

When you stay here you get what you pay for! Service is average, but so is it everywhere else in the bahamas. The location is prime. Senor Frogs, the straw market and restaraunts are all in walking distance (5-7 mins). The beach across the street is great for spring breakers and other vacationers because it has a DJ and a lively atmosphere. I highly recommend staying here if you have a tight budget and are looking to have fun!

You get, exactly what you pay for
By ,
My husband and I went to this hotel and fortunately, it was only for one night because I would not have stayed a minute over. For most of the day on Saturday, the water was off. We kept calling the front desk to find out when it would be back on and the only response we got was that BEC was working on it and would get back to them. Apart from this HUGE inconveniece, we were battling a roach all night who must have assisted us in paying for that nights stay. Upon checking out the next day, we ask it would got get a late check out, only to be told that there would be an additional $35 to have the room until 1 p.m. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, anytime, at any price.

Quality Inn, Anything But Quality
By ,
I thought I had a steal when I booked a room there for 4 nights for 65 dollars each. I was seriously wrong. I had a room that was on the west side(a two twin bed room, room# x01 - x09 ) of the building. The room smelled awefully damp, and with lots of specks of black mold on the bathroom walls and sink, and it didn't have a view. Changing the room was impossible. The hotel was also very noisy. I was awaken at 3 am by people having a party across the hall, and then by the garbage truck unloading at 6 am, EVERY night. I'd imagine the rooms on the east side (two queen bed rooms) were a lot better. They had a better view and better air ventilation. But then again, I don't know for sure. Overall, my experience was quite negative. But if you don't mind a really damp room, or if you can get one of the queen bed rooms, or you don't plan on sleeping much, then I suppose 65 dollars per night is a very good price. Otherwise, find some place else.

good location, ok room
By ,
The hotel had a good location - across from the beach and an easy walk into town. The room promised an ocean view and did indeed have a small window in the corner. However it was a little disappointing. An ok room but didn't quite meet my expectations.

Don't waste your money
By ,
Our experience last week was awful. The hotel is filthy, the vending, soda and ice machines were all out of order...ALL WEEK, the restaurant is closed. The lobby bathrooms are nasty and never cleaned. The shower and sink water would sometimes go on, sometimes not and when it did it would trickle out. The staircase smelled like urine. The pool area is disgusting. When we put our towels on the chairs they got black. Nothing is maintained in this hotel! Plus there were bugs (unsure of what kind) in our bathroom. What a horrible first time experience in the Bahamas. I have a complaint in with the travel agency that booked us.

not bad
By ,
it was my fiancee and i's first visit together, the room was spacious and clean, the bedding needs to be updated but the bed was comfortable. The vending machine took are money twice and the lady at the counter made us feel as though we wanted something free when we told her the machine took are money. The lady on may 26th who checked us in was very courteous and accomodating. We would stay there again, but the breakfast room full of school children on weekdays will keep us away.Good location, and overall not too bad

Don't Stay Here, here's why
By ,
This place was so bad. Here is my list.. 1. The sheets had holes in them. 2. No hot water. 3. The entire hotel was dirty. 4. You can hear everything going on outside the room, very loud. 5. They charge you $4.00 for breakfast, which is a dry bagel (no cream cheese), warm milk for the ceral, cheap danishes and OJ and Apple juice. (DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY) GO to McDonalds down the street!! 6. Staff was not nice, had big attitudes. 7. They charge you $2.00 a day for the safe. 8. They charge you for beach chairs on the beach. 9. The beach has sea shells, glass and rocks so wear some water shoes. 10. They charge for internet. I wouldn't have mind so much if it wasn't like $134 a night. Oh and they charge you for the maid service. Hope this helps some people.
