Super 8 Lafayette, Lafayette

I am very anal retentative about cleanliness. You could eat out of my toilets at home, were you so inclined. This motel, however, rose above and beyond even my own stingent standards. There was not a mold spot to be found anywhere in the bathroom/sink area. All the grout was clean and white. There were no mysterious "stains" in the tub. The showerhead had no residue/ buildup and the shower curtain was spotless and appeared brand new. The matress was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The pillows, however, sucked- they usually do, even in the "nicer" hotels. Check-in and out was quick and simple- no fuss, no muss :) Staff was prefectly polite as well. It's a steal at around $50 a night. I've stayed in places that cost much more and were not nearly as neat and clean. I only stayed one night there, in town for a family emergency. I could have moved in, though, and been perfectly happy. We will definately stay here again, the next time we are in town. I suggest you do, too!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were fairly clean. Free wireless internet with free breakfast, cant beat the price we paid. Could add few more items in breakfast.

An old hotel that is being maintained on a budget. Not very clean and safety was an issue. Breakfast was minimal. Internet for a fee.

It's cheap. The rooms are old, but it has wireless Internet. Good if your looking for a place to sleep that doesn't cost a lot of money.

..even for a super 8. not the cleanest, and certainly not new or newly rennovated. but, it was right off the interstate, not far from downtown, and real close to a bunch of food options.
