Had a great room and the view outside was spectacular. The desk made us feel welcome and we talked to them everytime we left the hotel. Only thing i would suggest is booking this at SweetHotelDeals. N e t

was recently their on, 12-13-09 for an event and the Hotel was outstanding and gorgeous. the service was great and oh so friendly. everything that i saw (bathroom, ball room, and the floors) looked clean and well kept. Overall, A+

I reserved this hotel based solely on the reviews. When I got to the hotel I was very pleased with my selection. The hotel is very well kept. The staff was very friendly. I called the front desk two times during my stay and the hotel staff was knocking on my door within 5 minutes of making a request for an item. The hotel is centrally located to the attractions within the city. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and had a lot of variety. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends and I plan to stay again in the near future.

Always a great Front Desk staff. Grill staff also very kind and gracious.Resturant staff also friendly.A little expensive,but clean and safe atmosphere.Did write a letter to General Manager about an incident from stay in December,never heard a word back.Overall though,Friendly,clean,after three stays,never had a problem except the one time in December.Would recommend Hotel to anyone visiting Memphis,that can afford the prices.

Loved the size of the room and that it had two queen size beds - very comfortable. Clean, great shower, food and room service were excellent, loved the indoor pool and staff was very gracious. There wasn't anything I disliked about the stay.

The hotel has the atmosphere of a hospital. It is well located for central Memphis needs being next to Memphis University. It is an all suite hotel, which includes a small sitting room with a frig, microwave, and bar sink, plus a tv, phone, small table with two chairs, pull out sofa, and another comfortable chair. The floor layout places the only bathroom next to the bed in the bedroom, hence awkward for use by two people staying in the separate rooms. The floors were not well vacumed, bath tub was not cleaned even after a request was made, many other cleaning details were omitted. The staff seemed clueless most of the time. Parking is poor for security reasons, they lock the accessible door at 11:00pm. The price of approximately $165 per night, including taxes, is too high for this hotel. There is no pool. Windows can not be opened. No atmosphere. Location and quiet would recommend this hotel.

This is the best of the best for service and accomedations. This is a 10 star hotel. We loved our stay here. The only thing I would redo is the directions to the hotel. For by the way you had us arrive to the hotel I almost cancelled for fear of the surrounds (poorest part of town) arriving to the wonder cute area. But very surprise upon arrival. Going through town much nicer then going the freeway. The only thing this hotel needs is a pool on its grounds as well as a laundry area. We stayed 4 days 3 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. Have told a lot of people that is they are planning a trip to Memphis this is the place to stay. We plan on returning again but in cooler weather we hope. Wonderful.

What a great location; in close proximity to all the major tourist attractions. Stellar customer service. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean; the decor was very beautiful. Kudos to the chef, the Sunday brunch was delicious. Overall I truly enjoyed my stay and I will certainly choose this hotel in the future!

I love my visit to Memphis and staying at this hotel. I come every year to the J.S.U and T.S.U. game and this was my first time staying here and it was wonderful. The rooms seem like they are new. The staff was friendly and well informed about their business. The parking lot was well lit. The bed was so comfortable that we sleep until noon almost missing our morning activity so you need to get a wake up call if you need to be up early. Everything was great.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Front desk folks were great. The Inn also contains the U of M's Hospitality and Tourism Department, so there are many high-energy students working there who are eager to please! There is also a very interesting area on the second floor describing the life of Holiday Inn's founder, who was a UofM benefactor. You can spend an hour just viewing some of the memorabilia in his "shrine"! Our room (all-suite hotel) was comfortable and clean, mostly newer furniture and amenities, refrig, microwave, etc. The rooms are very quiet (and we had the University girls and guys soccer team meetings there during our stay, so that's an accomplishment!) We really enjoyed the escalator which takes you from the lobby directly to the third-floor rooms...no waiting for elevators, very convenient! Only downers: 1) there is no in-room wireless...you have to be very much in the lobby to connect...they really should fix that, and 2)if you want your room made up before noon, specifically request early service. Ours was not ready when we returned at 3pm? Restaurant was very good for hotel fare (go to Central BBQ for great Memphis ribs...5 minutes away on Central Avenue). Beale Street is 15 minutes away, an $18 taxi fare...and the University is directly across the street, so you are 5 minutes walking time away from any UofM building. This is the ONLY place our family will stay in Memphis!
