This is truly a 5 star hotel. The Hilton's know how to make you feel comfortable. It is extremely clean, the value was a steal and the service was outstanding. The location is an hour from the airport which means very early morning flights and there is nothing around you except other hotels. So, if you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place but it is not close to town to explore. It is gorgeous here. The pool has a cool swim-up bar and it is huge and tropical. The golf course is very well maintained and you can see the pyramids from the golf course. We loved Cairo as well as all the other towns we saw. The pyramids and the sphinx are about 5 miles away. The best restaurant is called "ANDREA" this was the best food of the trip, including the Hilton. The atmosphere at the restaurant was part of the wonderful experience. It is an outdoors patio with well worn(but clean) tables and chairs and the food is amazing. Everyone in my tour group all said " if we had eaten here first, before the hotel and the Nile cruise, we would have been very disappointed the rest of the trip with food being served.
