Christmas 2007

Mixed emotions about my stay. I guess when you consider we stayed over a major holiday when noone really wants to work, it wasn't so bad.
The positives were the staff's friendliness, the morning breakfast, and the cleanliness of the room. Our experience with remote desert towns has been filthy rooms (Barstow).
Everything was perfect until someone from maintenance busted in my room without even a knock. I appreciated the management's efforts to compensate us, but it really tainted the stay.
The other issue was occupying a room next to their 24-hr audio system that played screaching noises to keep the bats away. That was disturbing at times.
The last negative was that they do not offer current movie rentals. You're stuck with basic cable and a few HBOs.
Now that I know what to expect, I would stay there again if I were to; request a room farther away from the bat repelent, make sure to keep the latch on the door, and bring portal DVD or books.
