Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham-Pelham (I-65), AL, Pelham

I can't believe this place is rated as a five star hotel. It certainly isn't. It is average at the very best. We had a suite and there were no dishes, nor anything to use for cooking. There was only one chair in the suite so when we had guests they had to sit on the bed. In addition, the hotel charged us for the room twice and I have not been able to get them to correct that yet and will have to go through the bueracracy of refuting the charge on my credit card.

This was a very clean hotel with great service. On our travels to Florida we stayed here overnight. We had 3 small children and were able to relax and enjoy a nice evening before our journey the next day. Very clean accomodations with very comfortable beds. The staff was very kind also. Lastly, the breakfast was just great, with just about anything one would want for breakfast. Thanks so much! Would highly suggest this hotel!

The hotel was clean with very nice furniture. There are ceiling fans in the room. The staff is caring and helpful. My wife and Istayed there six days, and have been here previously. Most of the times it has been quiet. The last time we stayed we realized that the amphitheater is nearby and it was concert night so we could hear some sounds, but it wasn't really too loud. The concert ended promptly around 11:00 pm and was well patrolled by police, so no problems. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and plan to stay here routinely on business trips. We are looking forward to our next stay here.

We reserved group rates for our family, wedding party and guests for the weekend of our wedding, which was held at the nearby Oak Mountain State Park. The staff was wonderful, making the experience for our group enjoyable and care free. There was a lot to do in and out of the hotel for everyone who came. And it was great to be able to hang out with my friends and family before and after the wedding. At Breakfast, the attendant arranged the tables so we could all sit together, and after the wedding, the staff allowed us to set up our left over catered food for all of us to pick off of in the lobby. I chose Hampton over some of the other hotels nearby because I feel that though you pay a little more, you get 10 times more back in service and amenitites. I love Hampton Inn, and this one especially made our wedding weekend wonderful.
