Good Hotel
We just came back from this hotel (Wed, Thurs, Fri). Free parking, and had no problem finding a space. People at front desk very nice. It is next to the 101 freeway, and I asked for a room facing away from it and none were available. When we got to the room, the noise seemed no problem, but that night it kept me awake. It bothered my wife too but not as much, and did not bother my 15 year old daughter at all. Next night switched to the other side, and it was extremely quiet and slept great. It did have kind of a strong cleaning type smell at first, but got used to it. It is convenient to Universal, although that traffic light out the parking lot going onto hwy 101 and Cahuenga was confusing. It never goes green, but just goes flashing red quickly then yellow and red again. Finally just would go on flashing red. Universal was a very short drive. Hollywood Blvd and Sunset very short drive also. Breakfast was good. Walked two blocks to a good Italian restaurant also. I would stay there again, but only on side away from the highway.
