One word: AMAZING
This resort was absolutely fabulous. I came with my husband and my two daughters ages 9 and 16. The JW Marriott is located right next to the Ritz Carlton and we also enjoyed many luxuries of that hotel, such as the spa and the fitness club. The staff is very friendly from the bell men to the waiters to the valet right from the start. When we checked in the staff worked extra hard to find us a room with a poolside view and balcony. While we waited for our room, we went out to the pool. The pool is amazing, there are three large pools connected by a lazy river surrounded by palm trees, there was also a movie showing at the pool and a restaurant, Quench, where there the serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic tropical drinks, smoothies and margaritas.Their food was delicious and the all vegetables in the food are actually grown by the hotel in an organic garden. You can also get your food brought right to your lounge chair. By the pool there was also daily BBQs, a beach volley ball court, playground, baby pool and it is walking distance from the spa. Outside of the pool there is a path along the lake, where one can walk, rent a bicycle "car," lay on the various hammocks and enjoy the beauty of the lake (extremely romantic), which by the way has no bugs to pester or bite you. The landscaping is absolutely gorgeous and everything is perfect. Inside, there is the Citron Grille, which has an amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Primo, which is slightly more expensive is also delicious. The lounge near the lobby is good for sushi and drinks but it takes longer to get the food on the menu which they have to You never even have to leave the hotel, there are shops ans boutiques for men and women and a convenience store with everything you need. There was even a Starbucks. The room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. There are chocolates under your pillow when you come up to your room. Room service is fast, there were plenty of towels in the room but it was certainly not the main attraction of this hotel. For all you golfers there is a huge, green golf course as well. This was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in, both my daughters loved it. It may be a bit pricey but it is worth it. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants an unforgettable vacation. Oh and don't forget to try the complimentary, iced tea in the lobby, it is delicious.
