OMG!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/08/09
Immaculate and spacious room. Professional and attentive staff. Loved the welcome Lindt chocolates left on the bed since this is my favorite brand. Got room service for dinner - grilled salmon - delicious!! This hotel is bestowed in European ambience, comfort and style. This is where you should stay in Old Montreal. You'll love it.

Yes this is the Hotel You are Looking for!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/07
Beautiful spacious rooms with fireplace and balcony. Bathroom had separate shower and oversized jacuzzi. Very very clean hotel. Restaurant worth staying in for. Be sure to head to sister hotel Le Place d'Armes Hotel & Suites for the Spa treatment

Set the standard from now on
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/15/06
Most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. My boyfriend and I barely wanted to go out and see the rest of Montreal because the room was so increadable. The bed is comfortable, the room is cozy (and romantic) and it takes absolutely no time to feel as if you are being pampered. The shower and spa are so nice. You really feel like you are in the lap of luxury. The resturant was rather dissapointing, after spending 60 dollars on 6 pieces of shrimp, some french fries, 2 bottles of water and some sorbet. (all of which was split) The quality of the food was also lacking for the price. However, the hotel was worth every penny, and I can't wait until we go back again.

Wonderful Place to Stay
By RUBE, 07/13/06
My wife and I visted Montreal for the first time in July 2006 from the U.S. The Hotel Nelligan turned a good stay into a great stay with its combination of service, location and value for the money. The hotel staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, from taking care of our rental car during our stay (we walked and Metroed everywhere) to recommending restaurants to procuring event tickets. The rooms were nicely furinshed and comfortable, and the rooftop terrace was a great place for an evening cocktail. Best of all was the location, in the heart of the old port area three blocks from the nearest Metro station. All of this came at a price of less that $200 a night during the height of the season while the Montreal Jazz Festival was going on. Without a doubt, the Hotel Nelligan was the best hotel we've stayed in during our numerous visits to Canada.

A wonderful experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/06/06
The room amenities were luxurious, including a romantic bathroom whirlpool. When our room was not quite ready when we arrived, a personal note of apology with a bottle of wine appeared in our room that evening. The little gym did allow us to work off a tiny bit of all the Montreal cuisine we rapaciously consumed. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. It is a city hotel, albeit in a quaint area, so there is some street noise. The restaurant was a bit pricy, but the food was superb. All in all, a marvelous place.

I Love The Nelligan
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/12/06
My boyfriend brought me to the Nelligan for Valentines Day and we had a wonderful time. We attended the managers wine & cheese welcome, which was lovely. Our room was just gorgeous with a fireplace, huge fluffy bed, a stereo with cd's to rent and the bathroom, Huge! Everything was beyond clean, I couldn't have been more impressed. We had supper at the hotel restaurant, which was very nice, although the menu was a little disapointing. Staff was great and I recommend this to any couple, business person etc... Who is considering staying at the Nelligan; Bravo!

Elegant stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/06
I've been working in Montreal for a few months and have tried most of the cities large and boutique hotels (Omni, W, Saulpice, etc.) and Nelligan was the best! Nice rooms, classy service with a free wine and cheese - CD's to borrow and play in your stereo too.

Beautiful Hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/05
The hotel is just beautiful with stone and brick walls everywhere. Beautifully refurnished, all modern amenities and the friendliest staff we have encountered. Not overdone but really sincere. The beds are so comfortable and the fireplace in the room was a delight! Very nice experience and same high quality as itssister property, Hotel Place d'Armes which we have stayed at many times.
