We reserved our room online 6 weeks in advance. We reserved a Suite/Smoking/King Bed/Internet. I called and checked on our reservation a week before we were scheduled to arrive. Everything was set. When we arrived and seen that we had been put in a non smoking room, (The outside temp was near 0.) with a double bed,no internet. The room was clean but the carpet was not. I asked where my room was and was simply told that they didn't know, sorry and that there were no more rooms available.
The next day we had to get our things and leave until we could check back in at 3. We were moved to the room we reserved and everything from there was great. I am confident that had we been in the right room all along that I would go back without hesitation. The suite was nice and I love the new bedding idea. The bed was comfy and the staff kept there composure well during this ordeal.
I, thinking it was just a fluke, went to get my new keys to new room, there was a man there cursing, asking the same qestion "Where is the room I reserved??" I waited for them to try and straighten this out when a woman came stomping down the stairs with the same problem. Nothing was resolved. Your choice is to stay in a room you didn't reserve or go to a different hotel. In my opinion this hotel needs a better system relating to reservations. Honoring them would be a good start. Because they didn't, it makes me leery about choosing them for future stays. This was an anniversary weekend and my first trip to this area.
