the best view for your money

i got the $109/night harbor-view room, icluding breakfast & taxes. the view is fantastic. make sure you're on floor 15 or above. try the million $ view from the fitness center! room is small but comfortable. the beds are firm with nice soft comforters. good water pressure from the shower faucet. buffet breakfast is good with lots of quality choices. the staff is polite & helpful. nothing to complain about. i stayed 6 nights.

number one on world tour

metropark for my party of three was just perfect,staff were a delight and so efficient,rooms were harbour view and exceeded our expectations,dining in the hotel was a delight ,no need to leave hotel for expensive restaurant.bar staff were great with the added bonus of local entertainment,definately a repeat visit ,best hotel on world tour.

One of the Best I've Ever Stayed In

Metropark Hotel in Hong Kong is with a doubt one of the best if not the best in Hong Kong. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms (at least the executive suite) are well laid out are decorated simply but tastefully. There is a high speed internet connection in the room that is extremely useful. Most rooms have a completely unobstructed view of the harbor.

Great place. The rooms were awesome, the beds a bit small but the whole room was a good size. Very modern, clean cut. The pool and gym is great as well.

king of the world!!

Easy acces by metro (1 minute walk Tin Hau station), great luxery: including an amazing view of the city sitting in a jacuzzi in the rooftop-swimmingpool!! Extra's as a free (small) fitnessroom and sauna make it perfect! Summary: feel yourself king/queen of the world without drowning in the 'mass of the city'!! Hong kong is just a great stop-over destination! greetz, koen & komala from Holland ps. Also perfect for low-budget travelers as Hong kong is quite cheap and it is perfect to combine with a stay at Macau or Lantau Island (see Silvermine beach hotel!

Service was excellent. Staff was courteous. Overall great experience. Provided shuttle bus to nearby shopping center. One of the better hotels I stayed at. Location is convient to many locations.

A Great Escape

We stayed at the Metropark in August, 2003. The hotel was more than we'd expected starting from our early check in to the fact that all of the courteous staff knew our names within minutes of that point. Most rooms have unobstructed views across Victoria Park and stretching from Victoria Peak across Hong Kong, Victoria Bay and beyond Kaloon to the New Territories. The room itself was small but well laid out so as not to feel small. The roof top pool and exercise room combined with the running track across the street were handy as was the fact that the hotel was a five minute walk from the subway. Two other factors that really stood out: Location -- The Metropark is on the edge of all of the hustle and noise of the central city and hecticness of Kowloon yet convenient to all parts. The hotel's restuarant is supurb featuring full buffets of Eastern and Western foods at amazingly affordable prices (and we very rarely even buy coffee in the hotels in which we stay). The Metropark is luxury at a great value.
