Days Inn Edmundston, Edmundston

I've stayed at this hotel plenty and it's the best halfway spot to stop for the night when going from Ontario to the East Coast and back. I shop around for the best price and am always happy with the rate at this place. Has all the basics - very convenient to highway, free internet, tastefully decorated throughout, free continental bfast with great selection of cereals/breads, and genuinely friendly staff (best part). My only pet peeves that I think everyone should know though - 1) smoking rooms are sometimes close to non-smoking, 2) no fitness facilities or pool - but I think this keeps the hotel a bit quieter in general (not many kids stay here). Tips - Book in advance, this place fills up when roads get bad. Ask for drive up room near end of hotel for a little more silence to your stay. Pack your DVDs, player in the room and you can even rent from the front desk. Of the 4 categories above, I honestly could find to flaws and am happy to give this hotel a perfect score.
