a forgetable experience

this tired hotel is in desperate need of redecoration, and new carpets without holes in altho the gaffa tape is a nice touch... with the prices there charging for food and drink surely they can afford it. The food was average but the large portions only prolong the misserable experince, i would advise using the diner over the road atleast you'll get a nice atmosphere in there and a drink that wont break the bank. The bed was comfortable enuff but the music from the function below prevented me from sleeping. At breakfast i asked for poached eggs and 20 minutes later was presented with 2 eggs as hard as golf balls and enough water too swim in... i just had cereal. needless to say i wont be returning.

What a awful dirty place! Strange staff, dirty room, very old fashion style, dark, cracked sink in the bathroom, broken el. iron. They charge guests for using wireless or wired internet access. Newer more something such a disgusting.

Excellent but pricey for drinks

Just spent weekend on ground floor opposite Aeriel conference room. Slightly noisy on Fri and Sat nights due to weddings but food is excellent and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Only downside is how expensive it is to eat and drink at hotel, Â£4.50 for 2 cokes, Â£50 for 2 courses for 2 people. Rooms are very big and beds are extremely comfortable. New Mersey shopping park opposite hotel which was handy if anyhing gets forgotten. Would recommend to anyone and I look forward to going back.

the hotel is great with the art deco theme, clean fresh bedrooms, bar staff great, helpful, friendly. Food expeneive but you do get large portions. Would go again

Friendly staff but rooms need redecorating

Room I stayed in was dull and in need of some maintenance. Food at the Hotel is expensive but I guess it is the Marriot!However the staff are friendly and the Hotel is ideal if you are using the Airport of visiting the Halewood car palnt. Good bus service to Liverpool town centre [approx 35 minutes duration each way]
