Service was good, but not as good as some places I have been. The shower had mould, and was a bit dirty. The food is not that great and overpriced - in fact, everything is waaaay too expensive. If I pay for a luxury room, I don't expect to be raped by having to pay $5 for a razor blade. The furniture in the room was old, 90's style, the table was missing a drawer, and looked as if it was glued back together after being broken. There was no TV remote in the bedroom. Room service was fast, but breakfast cost $80 odd dollars, and the toast was burnt. I keep reading good reviews about this place, but I was staying in one of the most expensive rooms on the 10th floor, and wasn't overly impressed.

The service from staff was a standout feature at this hotel, very curteous and attentive to our needs. Great facilities and location, would recommend for local and international travellers alike.

We were completely appalled by the service given to us. To begin, our clothes were completely destroyed as the washing machine was broken as we didnt realise that the timer was not working. We decided to seek some form of compensation from the hotel as it is not our fault that the dryer was not working and has destroyed all our clothes. Firstly, the technical staff was rude, hostile and very defensive. He didnt try to help us but instead had rudely argued and claimed that he couldnt help us. We took this case to the manager who in turn was polite but did nothing to help us. we had to fight our way to at least ask the hotel to dry clean our clothes but in turn was threatened that we might not get our clothes the next day (as we were leaving the day after) Overall, we felt that they could have been more helpful, showed some sympathy and treated us like guests instead of enemies. We wouldnt go back even if they gave us a free stay!
