Best deal in downtown New Orleans
By ,
I have stayed at this hotel at least 10 times and have never been disappointed. Rooms are spacious, elegant and clean. The hotel location is great. It is a 15 minute walk to the Superdome and a 15 minute walk to Bourbon Street. A lot of security, but I felt very safe there. The breakfast in the mornings is great and the afternoon snacks are a pleasant surprise. Just stayed there for the high school state high school football championships and was quoted $98 a night. What a great deal. Parking is $17, though, so be ready to pay for that. But, you have to pay to park anywhere in downtown New Orleans. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Loved it
By ,
Our family stayed July 15, 2009 for one night before taking a cruise and we loved it. There was 20 family members staying in 5 rooms. The hotel was beautiful, the staff very friendly and helpful, and it was such an awsome price for what you got. We enjoyed all of the free amenities, while enjoying a clean and comfortable room. One of the greatest features was the free cruise parking. It saved us so much and we are so appreciated. I would recommend this hotel to any one staying in New Orleans. Thanks again Drury Inn for making this family vacation one to remember. The Lewis and Sims families.

I can't wait to get back to this hotel. I stayed here last year twice and that's where I'm heading right now. Great rooms, great staff, great location and best of all great price! This is a five star hotel with a two star price!

I will be back!
By ,
I stayed several days in April '08, and found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were pleasant and clean, and the breakfast was good. It was nice having refreshments available, in the lobby, at all times. The location was great... a few blocks(walking distance) from French Quarter and the best frog legs in town (Herbsaint). I stayed with friends in April, but will return with my family, and will feel quite at home!

A Fantastic Value
By ,
I booked a room at the Drury Inn with some trepidation. An Inn sounds low end but I did not want to spend the ~200 that the other bigger name hotels were quoting. The reviews were consistently positive, so I decided to take a chance. When I arrived at the Hotel at 11:00 pm, the door had card secured entrance, which gave the impression of a safety issue. Even after checking in, the elevator required the use of your room key to go up and down. I am not sure why all this is in place, because the hotel is very nice and certainly seems very safe. The lobby is elegant, with high ceilings and good decor. The room, with a king bed and a jacuzzi, was a very pleasant surprise. It was quite large with ~14 foot ceiling and nice, tall windows. The bed and the furniture was of the level that I would have expected in a top grade hotel. The bathroom had marble tiled floor and walls. The only thing that was incongruous is the use of cheap soap, shampoo, and glasses, which were the disposable clear soft plastic variety that one finds in a motel. This is a minor issue. An added bonus is that they had unlimited free long distance calling and free wireless!!! I hate paying 10-20 extra for wireless on top of the 200+ rates at the better hotels. There was also free breakfast, but I did not try it. Overall, a fantastic value.

We are going back!!!!
By ,
We had a fantasic stay. My husband and two kids stayed in one of the king suites and had plenty of room. It was clean and fully stocked with towels and everything else. The kids loved the pool and jacuzzi on the roof. The walk to Burbon Street was not far at all. The staff was extremly helpful with what ever we asked. We went down for my daughter's birthday and they made sure she got all the attention. The breakfast buffet was great!!! We will be going back again in January for my son's birthday. We will always stay here whenever we visit New Orleans.

Cozy hotel
By ,
I am currently staying at this hotel and I'm suprised at how "at home" I feel here. I travel for a living and find myself feeling very lonely. This hotel room layout is very warm and inviting...I feel like I'm at home here. I highly recommend this establishment...not only for the warmth of the employees as well as for the spacious and clean room and complimentary breakfast and evening snacks. After a long day sometimes the last thing I want to do is go out to eat by myself. The evening snacks...were just snacks but it allowed me to be in a setting with others in my same position. Look forward to revisting. Oh and also...the beds here are the best I've slept on...I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning it was so enjoyable.
