Drury Inn and Suites New Orleans, New Orleans

I have stayed at this hotel at least 10 times and have never been disappointed. Rooms are spacious, elegant and clean. The hotel location is great. It is a 15 minute walk to the Superdome and a 15 minute walk to Bourbon Street. A lot of security, but I felt very safe there. The breakfast in the mornings is great and the afternoon snacks are a pleasant surprise. Just stayed there for the high school state high school football championships and was quoted $98 a night. What a great deal. Parking is $17, though, so be ready to pay for that. But, you have to pay to park anywhere in downtown New Orleans. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had read the Yahoo reviews before I booked this hotel and found them to be totally on target!Great location, very clean, and pretty.The staff was very helpful and courteous. Would definitely stay here again---great accomodations and price!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a 2-room suite (which they gave us at govt. per diem) and were very pleased with the room and the service. Our suite had high ceilings and many amenities ('fridge, high-speed internet, etc.). The location is good and parking is on-site and convenient. My wife & I went to the roof and privately (no one else there at the time) enjoyed the sights at night. You could not use the elevators without a keycard. This feature might be common in city hotels, but this was my first time experiencing such--a very nice and smart and safe idea. Highly recommend this place to all.

I can't wait to get back to this hotel. I stayed here last year twice and that's where I'm heading right now. Great rooms, great staff, great location and best of all great price! This is a five star hotel with a two star price!

Thr Drury is a great place to stay. Not only is the staff very kind and professional and make sure you're taken care of, but it is a safe and secure place to stay. It's a very elegant, beautiful hotel.

The location for me was great only one block from our office in New Orleans and walking distance to the french qtr, rooms were big and very nice, lobby was elegant and spacious. I really liked to happy hour there too. I highly recommend it.

From the covered canopy to opening of the front doors, I felt like an empress. No, not a queen, but an empress because that's what exuded to me me about the Drury Inn. The mahogany touches, the brass shining bright, the hotel's inviting living room setting with the plush and waaaaaaay too comfortable couches made me want to stay in the lobby. But, when I arrived to our room, oh my goodness, what breath taking moments pounded from my heart. The TV swiveled to meet one's needs. The lounge chair placed near the window brought an ease to the room. The bathrooms were elegant and the water handles a breeze to turn on and off. The closet, oh, let's not forget about the closet, big, bigger than any I've seen in a hotel setting. The pillows and bed were to keep snuggled in. I can write more, oh yeah, the lighting for the room was placed in all the RIGHT places. Even the alarm clock was easy to use. Yes, Drury Inn was "the place" to be in New Orleans. Did I forget about the roof top swimming pool and jacuzzi. What fun. Absolute fun! Thank you, thank you for the excellent breakfast and the way it was displayed for the guests and the food and drinks were delicious and soothing. Thank you.

Kids ran wild Sunday morning yelling in the hallway at 7:30 am most mornings. Sunday morning the maid vacumed the hallway at 8 am and weekdays at 8:30 am. This is a kid friendly hotel. Not for couples looking for romantic getaway or seniors seeking peace and quiet. Very Nice Rooms & Lobby, roof top pool is great. Everything is Very Very Nice, Great Free Breakfast
