Looking for Better Service

We recently had out of state family and friends in town and booked a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn. We were contacted multiple times to release our the remainder of our room block, finally doing so. I confirmed with them that they were only canceling the unreserved rooms only to find out when our friends arrived the next day that all the rooms had been canceled.
They had given away all of the other 8 rooms. This was very frustrating since we had specifically confirmed the opposite.
With another family guest, they had asked for a suite for 3 people and were given a king sized bed, although this was remedied, the service was below par.
