Excellent Choice in Budapest
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/26/09
Le Meridien is an excellent choice for visit to Budapest. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by front desk staff and escorted to our room. They had prepared an arrival packet with city guide, maps, and dining recommendations as well as introduction to the concierge who made our stay very enjoyable. Location was excellent as it was close to the subways, river front, Opera House, and St Stephen's Basilica. Room was spacious, quiet, and well furnished. Fitness center was cozy and relaxing after a long day. Would definitely stay at the Le Meridien on the next visit.

Good Location
By anthony s, 2/6/09
Our Jr. Suite had a balcony allowing good views of fireworks and some of the air show during the National Day. The breakfast was just OK. The location near the river was very convenient.

The Perfect Hotel
By John, 7/24/08
The Le Meridien Budapest is a welcome find for the discriminant traveler. Upon arrival, you are wowed by helpful bell captains and ushered into a lavishly appointed grand reception salon where you are warmly greeted by a multilingual staff. The rooms are spacious and ultra luxurious with marble baths with heated floors. The hotels has a wonderful swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna that ease away jet lag and travel tiredness. The spa offers great massages and a complete spa menu of treatments. The restaurant serves excellent Hungarian fare as well as continental favorites. This is our new "home address" while in Budapest. This is an Amazing Hotel!

Great Hotel and Staff
By David, 10/25/07
We recently spent three weeks in central Europe and this hotel was the best place we stayed during that time (including suites in Munich, Prague and Vienna). The room itself was spacious and well appointed, and everything worked perfectly. Maid service was impeccable and well-timed to our comings and goings. The concierge service was top-notch as well, and we came to rely on them to help plan almost every activity, which they executed just about perfectly. The food was wonderful, as was the bar service. All in all, this is a world-class hotel in a very intriguing and beautiful city. We would certainly stay there again.

Marvellous expirience!
By Kresimir, 1/19/07
Had a most beautiful weekend stay at Le Meridien. Service - excellent. Famous Hungarian hospitality and charm at its best. Couisine is a major plus. Delicious meals. Heated pool - lovely. Were lucky to have sun and warm weather in January. Staff went that extra mile to make us feel comfortable.Very relaxing expirience. Absolutely a place worth staying in. Location also a major plus. For that extra romantic feeling I recommend Menes csarda, than a trip on a river boat on the Danube when lights of the old city are turned on. Very effective ;-) Krešimir Peradinović, Zagreb, Croatia
