6 reviews for Embassy Suites North Charleston - Airport/Hotel & Convention Center, North Charleston
most comfortable accomodation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/08
My family of five stayed in this hotel for three nights. We were there to tour the city of Charleston. The room was very clean. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kids enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. I worked out in the weight room one night. We stayed at an embassy suite last summer and plan to stay in an embassy suite in December on our way to and back from Orlando Fla. The price paid was worth the stay and service.

Short delightful 3 day stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/11/07
We arrived about 2pm on Sept. the 25th the staff checked us in a no time at all. Arrived in the room and found it to spot lessly clean. We unpacked and went down stairs for a look at the atrium and get the feel of the place, had a drink at the bar and walked across the street for dinner at Chili's. Back at the hotel we find a free happy hr from 5:30 till 7:30 pm (every day) The restaurant manager(Britton ) and the bartender (Beverly)were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is next door to the convention center which is excellent since my meetings were there. We had breakfast(free) and lunch ($13.25 each)both delicious. Will stay there again. A Satisfied customer. Dr. Walton

Safe and Clean, and roomy
By MelissaI, 07/02/07
To start the directions that were given from my email confirmation were wrong and sent me to the "wrong side of the tracks " at 10:30 pm, then the guest services #1 priority was the conversations with the employees leaving for the night, not me and my fussy kids just wanting a bed . Paid for the room and all of a sudden I nolonger was there .I had to ask were to go ,and after 3 employees saw me wandering aimlessly I had to ask for a rack to take stuff up to our room. The hotel is very well cared for very clean, I have to say the rooms looked just like the pictures..I even let my baby play on the floor without haveing to clean it first. But there was no welcome packet in the room , even whent down asked for maps ect.. I got a , " Why do you need that?" Next morning found out you have to ask the right people for one. The food at breakfest was good but somewhat disorder. You have to ask lots of questions ,guess they dont beleive in reaching out first and showing the way, I got a big feeling like I was "Not good enough" The bartender"girl" on sat nite really cool ,made my night that someone cared, and Sharon at breakfest on sunday saw I was fighting with baby on hip an a wild 7 yr old, helpped me to a table and got a few things we needed and was the 1st person to ask about our trip.REALLY NICE My baby has been sick for months and we never get away and wanted to feel special, But when I went to pay room charges by check the looked at me Why. And said no personal checks after the guy at resv. said they did and I paid for the room with a check. The whole thing made me feel really low not the mix- up ,that happens , just the looks and better than thou vibe I was given. Its a shame cause its a great hotel just not an overall good staff!!!!!

First Class Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/06
I stayed here for a conference and it was like home away from home! The staff was attentive and the shuttle drivers were awesome! The manager's reception is also a plus. The business center was easy to use and everything was clean. After the conference, and after I checked out - my flight home was canceled, I called to see if I could go back to Embassy Suites. Not only did I get my same room, the shuttle picked me at the airport, the hotel staff had a key card ready and I was still able to stay at the conference rate. That spoke volumes!!! I will always stay here when I visit Charleston annually.

Great Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/07/05
We loved the breakfast and the people who fix it. We thought the manager's special was good too. The rooms were spacious and clean. In about 15 minutes you can be on the beach at Isle of Palms...truly beautiful. Overall we love this hotel and have reservations to go again!
