I have found my home away from home!

I loved everything about this hotel, the price (79.00), the spacious 2 room suite, the cleaniness of the room very neat and clean, beautifully decorated, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful housekeeping kept our room very clean and neat the entire stay, we had plenty towels and washcloths, wonderful free breakfast every morning, vcr and games in room, comfortable beds and pillows,and supplied with all the dishes and silverware you would need away from home. Overall I was just pleased with this hotel I would defintely recommend it to others and I plan to stay there every time I come to charlotte. The only downside was the fact that we had to drive far out to found restaurants but that was the only dislike that I had. Other than that this is an awesome hotel!

Loved it

Great privacy and extremely comfortable beds that got a lot of use! The price was a little high, but I think it was worth it for the one time experience, probably wouldn't spend that much there again, but you have to try it! The people were a little snobby, but that's what you expect at fancy places when you aren't wearing Prada, so I wasn't surprised.

Homewood Suites is my new most favorite hotel!

We had reservations at a different hotel, but they overbooked and left us stranded. Luckily, the Homewood Suites took us in and treated us like royalty. They soothed our jangled nerves and took care of all of our needs. The staff was SO friendly. We were thrilled with the full breakfast, not just juice and bagels. They even serve dinner for free! What a delightful surprise. The Homewood surpassed our expectations on every level and that's why they are our newest, most favorite hotel.

Wow! What a Nice Place!

I liked this hotel a lot from the moment we arrived. Everyone was so helpful and friendly; the grounds are beautiful. Yes, first impressions really do matter. We stayed at the Homewood over the July 4 weekend. The mini-apartment style met our needs. We were pleased to have coffee in the room. A visit from the local birds made the morning even more delightful. Ever been close enough to almost touch a cardinal? Oh, my! Oh, us? Actually, we live in Charlotte and wanted to "do something" and "go somewhere" for the holiday. Since my husband had to return to work the next day, we stayed close to home. This hotel is close to the amusement park, the lake and restaurants. Although the feeling is that this is a corporate stay apartmet, I loved the itimacy; oooh-la-la... We look forward to our next visit. Try it, you'll like it.

The only thing i would suggest to you guys is making sure you book it online at SweetHotelDeals. Net I did a bunch of searching for hotel prices, and that site seems to have the lowest prices all around

Neglected

Had ladybugs crawling all over room I didn't see until day break since I checked in late at night. The toilet ran all night, the plumbing in the wall made grinding noise all morning. I reported to both manager and Hilton Guest Svc with no response or acknowledgement and I've been a Honors Member for years.
