Cleanliness is a Problem

The room was not clean upon arrival: dusty, toilet, scraps of paper on the floor. There were only three bath towels in the bathroom of the 2 room suite, which included four people. When a request was made for towels the response was, "We are out, we will need to wash some" There was not a telephone book in the room, nor a pen. When I called the front desk for a local phone number, they clerk stated she would get back with me. She did not. I had to call again for the number and use my lipstick to write it down. We left the room on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. to go out and when we returned at 9:00 p.m., the room had not been cleaned, only 3 new towels had been dropped off. When I called the front the desk to discuss the concern, she stated that I would need to talked with the manager that would be in at 9:00 the following morning. I checked out at 12:00, still no sign of manager. I am at home waiting for her/his call, but if they handle matters in the manner in which I was exposed to during my 2 day stay, I am not expecting a phone call.
