They cheat off you. Scam, Rip OFF.
By MIN, 08/10/09
Never buy anything there, they sell stuff twice the price outside. I got ripped off around 5000+ dollars(because I didn't do reaserch, guess half was my fault). IPod, they sold at 500 dollars when it's 250, mac book pro, 1399, they sell around 2600, HP computers 1000, they sell 2000+ etc... And all these items aren't the latest newest, they say it's latest but when in reality it was from the year before. 2009 item, they ship you 2008, 2006, they gave you 2005. Only thing that's real price there, I guess are books...maybe I visted a few times and just found out recently I got ripped off! Guess my fault never do research when buying stuff.. Well, I bet there are other people out there got ripped off.

Definitely go to Tuscany!
By FTV, 07/09/09
We to the Mohegan Sun with a couple friends last year. Been there a number of times before and usually ate at Michael Jordan's which is really good. However, this time we decided to try Tuscany, the fancy looking restaurant underneath the big waterfall. My sister and I split the spaghetti and meatballs, and it was enough for the both of us. It was fantastic! I'd definitely recommend it. Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons played in the arena that night. Frankie has 4 younger guys backing him now. It's a great show, don't miss it. There's a full review of the show in Feeling the Vibe Magazine...the direct link is http://blog.feelingthevibe.com/frankie-valli-and-the-four-seasons-blast-into-mohegan-sun/

" Not What it used to be "
By karen, 05/27/09
My husband and I arrived at the hotel, check in was fine, we went to our room only to find a naked young girl in the bed. We then went down to the front desk to complain, the lady at the desk asked if the young woman was asian (which I thought was odd) we stated yes, she then proceeded to tell us that her party had checked out and she must have not known. They did give us a beautiful suite on top floor

Very Rude and Sneaky Practices
By Teresa, 02/23/09
I went to a concert. That was great. It was after the concert that when we tried leaving the way we came in we couldn't because they wanted to force you to walk in circles in the hopes you would gamble or buy something and not just be a concert goer. When I asked how to get to my parking level one of the employees said "just go that way" That way was a nightmare. We were there an additional hour getting deadends.. Employees were actually blocking accesses to the exit. Never again! MGM at Foxwoods was way better.

Great Time All Around
By Jessica Somers, 02/16/09
First off, the casino is BEAUTIFUL! It can get very crowded, but I like that type of atmosphere. There are non smoking tables and slots if you want to get away from the smokers that are gambeling. The rooms were great ( a little expensive though) The good thing is that you need a room key to even get to the elevators, so you feel a little more secure. Drinks and food are great. I am going again in about 6 weeks to celebrate my boyfriends birthday!

Great place for an overnight getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/25/09
I've been to both casinos in the CT area and I have to say while both are very nice, Mohegan is the better place for me for a few reasons: 1) I'm not a big fan of smoke filled room and Mohegan has better smoke free areas for both slots and table games. 2) Mohegan's atmosphere is better and therefore makes the experience more fun. This is of course a personal preference but its a bit "cold" at the other casino in my opinion. 3) Slots seem (perception) to be more fun at Mohegan. The have better interactive slot games like monopoly and wheel of fortunate. The onyl thing bad about Mohegan is the high price of hotel rooms on the weekend nights. If you can escape during the week and have a players club card, its a cheap and fun excursion. Spend a few hours at a bar playing video poker and drink for free. Take your points and eat for free... then go win some money (or not!).
