The location is great...right on Calle Florida pedestrian shopping area. Restaurants, ATM, shopping all very close by. Rooms are clean, modern nicely appointed. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of offerings. We asked the hotel to arrange for us to visit a Tango Show. They did this willingly and did right by us. When we needed a taxi, they carted our bags down the street to the end of the "pedestrian only" area where we could transfer our bags to a taxi.

I recently went to Buenos Aires and stayed in the Howard Johnson on Florida. The first thing that I found was that that guest service staff was incredible. They helped me find tickets to two concerts, made sure I had reservations when I returned to BA, and were very friendly. The price is higher than I wanted to pay, but the staff made it worth the price. The rooms are clean and large. The location is in the middle of the tourist area, which was beneficial, and I felt safe. When I return to BA, I will certainly stay here.

This hotel, located on Buenos Aires' prime shopping street, was such a pleasant surprise for me and my family during our recent weeklong stay. The service was always prompt and very helpful, and all of the front desk staff spoke great english. The rooms are large, well-kept, and comfortable. All of the nicely attired rooms and bathrooms appeared to have been refurbished recently. Many nice restaurants, art galleries, and a bustling shopping district lie just a few steps outside the front door. The daily breakfast (included with the room) provided many options, such as fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, croissants, scrambled eggs, and ham. Two waitpersons attentively served coffee and tea. Additionally, there are 2 computers in the lobby with free high-speed internet, which apparently is not common among other Buenos Aires hotels. Overall, this is a nice hotel at very reasonable rates with a great location. My family and I highly recommend giving it a try.

Convenient to nightlife, shopping, safe area. Big room with big beds. Great service.
