Rogers Park House, Chicago

We stayed at the Rogers house several years ago and it was the filthiest b&b we have ever visited. The room was dirty and it didn't appear the bathroom had been cleaned in months. The host was pleasant but he didn't seem to be aware that he was serving us breakfast - which consisted of stale cereal - on dirty dishes. After we left, I came down with a bad rash that required a Dr visit. I do not know if this place caused it but it would certainly never go back there and would not recommend it to anyone. What has continued to puzzle me is that B&B's in the US are almost always immaculate but this one is the exception. This just seemed like the host had a spare room that was cluttered with paperwork from his business that he would rent out.
