Bridgeport Waterfront Resort, Sturgeon Bay

the rooms were wonderful and the grounds were well groomed. right across from the marina, draw bridge, walking areas and maritime museum. food was very good continental breakfast was filling. please add yogurt to this and maybe hard boiled eggs.

The staff was exceptional. They did not have the room we wanted, so gave us a larger suite for the lower price and put a note in for the Challenger suite. They were able to get us into a challenger. This suite is unbelievable. For a romantic evening, there is no better!!!! We wish we could ahve taken it home with us! The staff was exceptionally helpful with suggestions anf directions for enjoying th area.

We just got back from Bridgeport Wtaerfront Resort - and loved it! It was our first time in Door County with our two teens, 15 and 19. We werent' sure where to stay - so we decided to stay at the beginning and travel up north to Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, etc. We were glad we did - while they don't have a beach - they have a great pool both indoor and outdoor. The location is great walk to everything in Sturgeon Bay. We had an immaculate room 2 BR condo - with a kitchenette, lr, dr, fireplace, master BR with whirlpool, 2nd br, and sofa had pull out bed. The lobby had menu from local door county restaurants; internet and printer; free coffee, cappuccino, and juice/milk all day/evening. The exercise room was a little "weak" but that was my only "complaint". We'd go back again - and it's great for families with little kids - as the indoor splash park is cute! The website ls not decieving - it looks just like they show it! Hope you like it is much as we did. THe staff is friendly and helpful!

Not too far from our home and not too close by either. Just right. Within minutes of the most poulated shopping and dining areas. Tons of shopping and exploring to do. Very nice suites, very clean and cozy. Felt like home away from home. Will be coming back this year again. Enjoyed very much last year.

We love everything about this place. They have a small splash park (as they advertise on their website and show pictures of)...not sure why anyone would have thought it was a waterslide....The rooms are HUGE and clean for a very fair price. I have spread the word about how great this place is to my family, freinds and business associates many of whom have went and also loved it...havent heard one complaint yet. I am sure there are many other great hotels in Sturgeon Bay, but it is a shame I will not stay at any of them. They had us at "hello" Why try anything else???

The front desk made me feel welcome and they were very helpful with directions to the local attractions and restaurants. The suite, WOW, what a view. Plenty of room and plush comfortable bed. This place is very quiet and relaxing. I will be back.

The place itself is great! However, the suite we stayed in needs some updating. The coffeepot leaked onto the counter every time we made coffee. The toaster either burned the toast or didn't toast it at all. There was no working remote for the television in the living room. Also,for three days, we attempted to get a cappucino or latte from the machine in the gathering room and it only produced hot water. These are things that definitely need attention, especially with the room rate being as it is. The front desk employees were wonderful and helped us with all of our needs. Kudos to them.

Bridgeport is a wonderful resort in Door County. My family loves going up to the Door whether it be a romantic getaway for my husband & myself or the whole family this is the place we will always stay. We have stayed at Bridgeport 3 time and will be returning for our 4th time this July. I honestly believe when going up to Door county this is the only place we will ever stay. Great staff, beautiful rooms w/all amenities you can imagine (love the whirlpools), and cleanliness.

What a great place to go if only have a short time to be away. The facilities are great for kids. Wonderful pool, game room, and a ball room. They have both an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. They are also of good size so you are never crowded. The town itself has everything you would need. any number of great restaurants. A good selection of shopping. A movie theatre, bowling lanes the boat comes in and out right by the hotel. the Palmer boat factory is right across the street and the views from the rooms are spectacular. I found the rates very compatible with ather hotels. They have a wonderful lobby which serves some food for breakfast. The rooms are quite large and very clean. the people at the front desk are estrememly helpful and pleasant. When we go to Door County this is the place to stay.
