Never Again Holiday Inn
We stayed in one of the executive suites. The rooms are in desperate need of updating. We needed three beds, and that included the pull-out couch. The hide a bed mattress was broken in the room we stayed on night one, the springs were literally sticking through the mattress. The bathroom was gross (moldy) and the carpet filthy.
In the morning we asked for another room. The desk clerk was happy to assist, and mentioned several rooms had been recently updated, but he wasn't sure which ones. We were provided several room keys, and took a tour of the hotel, looking for an updated room. With no luck finding an updated room, we settled on a smaller room that had a hide-a-bed that was old but not broken.
In my four day stay, I saved $200 by staying in the Holiday Inn instead of the Hampton Inn. I will not make the mistake of sacrificing comfort for a few dollars in the future. If Holiday Inn wants to be Motel 6 then that's okay, just lower the price. As for me, I won't make the mistake of staying at a Holiday Inn again.
