Disregard any naysayers, this is GREAT!

We were a bit concerned when we read an earlier review about bedbug problems, but we went ahead and stayed here from Thursday through Sunday. My wife and I and two 13-yr-old boys were all in one suite and on Friday we were both tired (13-year-old boys and video games will do that) and asked if there was any way we could get rooms close together. We ended up in two nice suites with a connecting door, and from then on it was great. The grownups got to relax and the boys got to feel they were on their own. I can't emphasize enough how very, very helpful, friendly and accommodating all the staff were. Service like we got is hard to find at a top-of-the-line $500-a-night, much less at a motel! The rooms were clean, there were no bedbugs to be found anywhere, and the location is great. We could walk out the door and go to Albertson's/Walgreens next door if we needed grocery or medical items (I had a bad cold the entire time we were there), and some very fine restaurants (try the Lone Spur for some great steaks, Murphy's for great all-around food, or Prescott Brewing Co. for home-made brew and decent food -- all are a 5-minute walk away). In my 50-plus years I've stayed in hotels and motels too numerous to remember, but this definitely ranks as one of the top 5 all-time best experiences I've had! The ONLY weak point is the "buffet breakfast." The eggs are the kind made from a milk container and are oval shaped and flavorless. Fortunately there is plenty of salsa and cheese to cover it. The sausage tasted like, well, uh, it had no taste. Stick with cereal or make-your-own waffles and you'll be fine. Better yet, go out for breakfast. Overall, 4.99999 stars, and only the bland breakfast keeps this from being a perfect 5-stars experience.
