3 reviews for Days Hotel Carrolton, Carrollton
Overall nice experience
By ScottF, 07/15/08
We stayed overnight here and found almost everything done well and politely. The desk staff helped us arrange for two connecting rooms, the rooms were comfortable, clean and in good condition, and the pool and hot tub areas were clean and functional. Complementary breakfast was simple but well done. Was it the Ritz? No, but for the price it was everything we expected plus a few nice surprises. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Great for HOF Weekend
By DSmithMEd, 08/10/06
We as the other reviewer did, stayed at this hotel for the busy Football HOF weekend and loved it. There were many advantages to staying at this hotel for the busy HOF weekend. First, from the hotel it was a short, scenic, 30 min drive to the Football HOF where you came into Canton on the SE side away from all the other traffic. (I had friends staying in-town that sat in their cars 45 mins just to get on the freeway to go NW.) Second, most closer hotels were going for around $150-$170 a night, by staying at this hotel for $79 a night we were able to afford 3 nights, making our trip much more relaxing and enjoyable. Third and most important there was a local pizza/sub/Ice Cream shop in town at the old train depot called appropriately enough "The Olde Depot" which had wonderful food at great prices (we ate there all 3 days and never had the same meal twice and the employees were wonderful) I originally found this place due to booking late but I will continue to stay there for future HOF weekends regardless of availability. I should also add, the hotel employees were wonderful and the location was excellent for anyone coming from the Pittsburgh area.

Nice hotel, but a bit far from HOF
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/05
We stayed here for Hall of Fame weekend. We started booking late, and this seemed like a good deal. It was next to impossible to find a hotel close by for under $150. The hotel itself is great. What you would expect from a Days Inn. It had a nice pool the kids enjoyed. There is also a nice restaurant right across the parking lot that we ate at all the nights of our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only complaint I have is the distance from Canton. It is about 30 miles, but with several turns. It also goes through small towns and winding roads. It made it seems a lot longer. Make sure you have everything for the day because you will not have the time to return. I forgot the tickets and we had to do this. LOL. Talking from experience :) Make sure you have a map printed because this is one you will not find by just winging it.
