Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham Bloomington/Minneapolis, Bloomington

I actually prefer the Eagan Microtel to the Bloomington one but stayed here when I had a conference in Bloomington (so location was important). The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Free wireless in room (but I had a lot of problems with connecting). The exercise room is tricky to get in to because they require you get an additional card key to use it. I have no idea why that is. The staff are not particularly friendly but they are okay. If I have a choice, I will stay at Eagan Microtel first, but happy enough for one night at the Bloomington location.

After reading the reviews here, I was nervous, but VERY pleasantly surprised. Clean room, Clean bathroom. EXACTLY what I needed for a simple one-night stay. I would definitely go back there!!!

We were looking for a reasonably priced motel near Minneapolis airport. The hotel was near the airport - that's about the best thing I can say. When we opened our room door with the key we were given, there was already someone else in the room. We went to the desk and got another room key to a non-occupied room. We requested a non-smoking room. Although our room was technically non-smoking, all the rooms surrounding us were smoking. The hallway was filled with smoke, which we had to walk through to get to our room and the smoke came under our door as well. The room was semi-clean.

Staff great--extremely friendly and helpful. Room clean and interesting layout---only prblem I had is I am handicapped and while there are plently of handicapped parking spots they allow other cars to park in the driveway behind the handicapped stalls. Getting parking place but getting out could be dicey----WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN!!!!
