Ramada Limited Lebec, Lebec

This little hotel, is a great place to stay, the rooms are rustic decor, clean, very quiet, kind of tucked away. The continental breakfast if O.K. nothing fancy, but enough for a great start in the morning, tucked in right at the bottom of the grapevine, a great value for the money, rooms were clean, and adequate, gas stations close, and easy on and off Interstate 5.

Found used condom in my bed. Attendant said it could have been mine, and I was trying to get a refund.

I have stayed here three times and just the sight of it after driving for hours is pleasing. The structure looks like a lodge or log cabin sitting just beneath the Tejon mountains. The lobby has a big rock fireplace and leather furniture. They have a computer in the lobby and the continental breakfast is sufficient. The rooms are pretty big and the beds look like they are made of logs. They have real quilts, not those horrible shiny colored bedspreads. Each room has a microwave, coffee pot, iron and refrigerator. HBO on the tv. There's a nice laundry area next to the lobby and a pool. The hotel is conveniently located next to one of the best Mexican Food Restaurants I have ever eaten at. There's also a Denny's, Jack in the Box, and two gas stations so you can take care of everything before getting back on the highway. The entire area is landscaped beautifully with a white ranch fence to top it off. I like to stay there before facing the crowded I5 Freeway going through Los Angeles, just to re-energize. I would also recommend it to anyone who just wants to get away from the city yet doesn't have time to go far. I have a latex mattress at home so it's hard to judge hotel beds, but I would say these are pretty comfortable compared to others I have slept on (or tried to sleep on). It's really hot there in the summer but cools down at night so take your bathing suit and your camera cause you will want to take some pictures when the sunsets over the mountain.
