White Doe Inn, Manteo

My wife and I stayed here after our wedding. The experience was not good. There was a woman who worked there...I can't remember her name, if I did, I would print it in full. She was so rude it was almost funny. She was someone in charge, manager of the place perhaps. We came down a little bit late for breakfast and they would not serve us any food. Even pastries or things that obviously require no preparation. Then she asked us (in an extremely aggressive way) if we smoked in the room. We told her we did not and she just looked at us. Then about an hour before check out, she told us we needed to give her our keys because they have early check in for new guests. We did not get early check in. She made it so uncomfortable. Just a horrible experience.

it's great it's fancy it's exciting trust me it's all that for one afordable price !!!!!!!!!!!!! take my advice the staff is so nice if you haven't been here yet you haven't lived the good life yet.

This old historic home is so beautiful and cozy. We enjoyed the Innkeepers and staff, too. The food was excellent and we will definately go back! Well worth the money. And repeat guests get a 10% discount!
