Top Ten!
By Hotel Specialist, 4/12/12
This comfortable quaint place is in my Top-Ten and I've reviewed 39 Palm Springs resort places. I'm confused with the top ten Yahoo travel review since a good portion of the listed places are "niche" places, catering to special needs (gay, nudist, sexual freedom, etc...) and can not be recomended to the larger population demographic. This place however is for the majority of travelers. A great place.

A 5 STAR RETREAT
By Gregory, 2/12/08
We have stayed at the Coyote Inn on several occasions, during different times of the year. We just made reservations to return in June. Mary and Gary are wonderful folks, who, from the time you arrive, until the minute you leave, make you feel like you are the most important people there. We always feel like we have stayed at a "5 STAR Retreat" for the ammenities that are afforded us while there. Great hosts, beautiful rooms, relaxing pool area, convenient location to shops and resturants, and spectacular view of the mountain - it all makes it a magical place to unwind, relax, and enjoy it all. We'll be back
By Sterling, 5/29/07
Very clean, very convenient, friendly people, nicely decorated. My wife never goes barefoot in a hotel or inn, but she did here. Wonderful beds, beautiful views of the mountains, and sitting by the pool at night was very relaxing. Fresh cookies, a selection of movies to watch at night, soda or water for days spent by the pool, terrific recommendations on where to eat and what to see. The more I think of this spot, the more good things I can think of to say. There are NO negatives. Sterling and Nancy from Vermont

Exceptional in every way
By michaelb, 6/14/06
Just a fantastic place to stay! Upscale and very, very clean. The owners are very friendly and accommodating in every way. They have created an atmosphere that allows all the guests to feel like interacting with one another. We made some acquaintances there that we're looking forward to keeping in touch with. Very posh, and friendly!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/16/05
We got a tip to stay at this delightful spot from two local nurses at a coffee spot downtown. Eva was our gracious hostess, assisted by the two sun-loving Pugs. The many lovely hummingbirds and perfect weather, as well as the gorgeous room and fresh cookies made the stay one of our all-time favorites. It would be a great place to go with a few couples. We cooked fun stuff from Trader Joe's and loved the quiet pool-surrounded rooms with palapas and an outdoor firespot. You won't be disappointed! ~K&M

Diamond in the Desert!
By Hollywood, 11/16/05
Gary & Mary are the ideal owners of this quaint, and under valued resort. From the decor to the friendliness this 8 room motel brings value and more. From the fireplaces in each room, the kickenette, free video's, outdoor jacuzzi, gas grill for cooking by the pool, 4 walking blocks from the center of town & resturants to the privacy and setting nestled at the base of a small mtn. You cannot find more for the price. With over 5 visits to my credit in a 3 year period I truly hate to recommend this place since it will reduce the vacancy that I seek, but yet I cannot be fair to 2 of the nicest people with the most intimate and adorable resort I have stayed out. I have recently stayed at Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands to numerous other locations and by far this is the best in Value, location and hospitality that awaits you. I will be there for New Years Eve and I highly recommend a weekend get away to here. Coby
