Quality Inn and Suites Canton, Canton

I called and made a reservation a few weeks before the Canton First Monday Market Days. I then called the Wednesday before my Friday reservation, just to confirm things. I was told that I had a reservation for Friday & Saturday nights. I told them, "no" my reservation is just for Friday night. They argued with me and said a manager would call me. I spoke with the manager 3 different times, telling him that I was NEVER told there was a 2 night minimum! I should not be charged for 2 nights, that was not the reservation I had made. He told me it was IMPOSSIBLE to only book for one night. I asked him if he was calling me a liar. They had no plans of making this right. I asked even just to cancel the reservation, and was told that wasn't an option either. When I was waiting for the manager to call me back, I found that they had ALREADY charged my credit card! As if so that there was no way they wouldn't get their money. That's what I call HORRIBLE business! What ever happend to "the customer is always right?"

I made online reservations to stay in a NON SMOKING ROOM as I am a NON smoker and I have a 9yr old with Astma. When I went to print my confirmation page I noticed I was booked for a SMOKING room. I immediatley called to report issue and was told "Sorry, we are overbooked by one for our non smoking rooms and you are outside if the cancellation period" I explained it was not my error and was told " rules are rules. I was told I could call the owner the next day to discuss and when I did I was told "Sonny is owner and he is never in and he will say same thing rules are rules" I tried calling corporate and the website I used to make reservation and they both told me they would try to help but it would be up to Hotel. Both times they were told No. I did not stay in hotel and lost $169.00 for a room I never requested. They have no concern for customers needs, their only concern is booking a room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are other hotels and bread and breakfast that are the same price and actually care about customers needs.
