Extended Stay Deluxe Columbia-Harbison, Irmo

Room is as pictured. Located right off the highway. Plenty of available parking. 1 TV is a bit awkward when 3 or more people are watching. Internet service wasnt complimentary - $9.95/day.
I reported an extreeeemely loud and vibrating refrigerator at 7:30am - which they seemed to know about - and a brand new fridge was brought up at approx 12:30pm. I expected someone to check and see if things were OK, but they didnt (not even at check-out). No compensation for previous nights troubles. Housekeeping not very thorough. Not much space for 4 pieces of luggage. Nonworking lamp. I was disappointed because I called the hotel before making reservations to find out how long a drive to Ft Jackson would take (my daughters boot camp graduation). I was told anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes drive. It was a 30 minute drive in moderate traffic. (Signs on the road show $200.00 fine minimum and 30 days for speeding - but even going 10mph over the speedlimit took 25 mins) We made 4-1/2 round trips - not good.
Overall, the room was fair for the money paid (even special rates). I wasnt very impressed at all.
