I will never stay at a Red Roof Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/07
I had made reservations at the Red Roof Inn for Friday, October 19 thru Wednesday, October 24th. We arrived approximately 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning, the Lobby was very clean and updated. I had noticed a stall odor on the lst floor as we approached the elevator as we reach our floor the odor lingered. Our room was on 3rd floor and I was totally surprised at how dingy, dark,
and gloomy this room was. I opened the drapes and the glass was dirty.
I was under the impression that photos don't lie, but to compare the photo to the room we slept in was a hugh disappointment.
We had traveled 15 hours, tired, disgusted. We spent the night. But Saturday morning we searched for another hotel where we could feel comfortable.
We did find another clean hotel, but it was not available until Sunday after 3:00. So we spent one more night in that depressing room.
I have mentioned to several people about the condition of this room and how we was totally 100% dissatisfied. We will never visit any Red Roof Inns.
This Inn needs to be upgraded.
