I felt so sorry for the desk clerk - she was very pleasant but had no authority or ability to handle any complaint. I should have not checked in when I saw the 'NO REFUNDS' sign on the front desk. The room had not been vacumed, ever. The room was not dusted, we were in a no smoking room but it reaked of smoke and cigerett burns on the sheets and blankets, cobb webs in all the corners, beer bottle caps under the bed and don't even let me get started on the bathroom! Sleep in your car - I should have.
