Courtyard Portland Southeast, Clackamas

I stay at the Courtyard every time I visit Portland. Clean, easy location, would definitely recommend.

It was a nice location, clean, very accomodating and helpful since we were there for a Memorial at the Willamette National Cemetery. We would definitely recommend it and we would go back if we needed a place to stay in that area.

We had reserved a block of 27 rooms for our wedding party a year in advance. On the eve of our wedding the Courtyard Marriott Sunnybrook started giving away rooms that we had reserved, confirmed, and paid for. At nearly midnight before our wedding day, they called us when it became clear that our whole wedding party would show up, and that some would be without rooms, since they had resold them. Some of the bridesmaids had to be shipped to a substandard motel, since their reservation had not been honored. To make matters worse, after going over the final bill with them, they still managed to overcharge us by enough to overdraft our bank account. They have refused to compensate us for this. Avoid this hotel. Do not trust them with your money or with your special event. Do not even trust them to honor your reservations.

Only problem I had was that it was pretty spendy and that the food in the hotel wasn't the greatest when I stayed last. The service was good and the staff was very friendly and willing to serve with a smile even late. I loved the pool, it is great as hotel pools go.
