Schoharie Hotel And Suites, Schoharie

I have stayed at this hotel in the past. This visit was by far not good at all. We took a king size bed room with a jacuzzi tub the room was clean and looked great. Holiday Inn is really behind the times. The bed was horrible could not sleep, the coffee pot? OUT OF DATE. We woke up at 6am by loud walking above our heads it lasted until 8am . We arrived late the night before and had a terrible nights sleep. We were going to stay another night and changed our minds. We woke up at 9am after getting some sleep to try the free breakfast that was included. My husband went to get us some coffee while we got ready. A bunch of guests THEY LOOKED LIKE SOME KIND OF WORKERS ate most of the food and there was not alot left. We just checked out. Will look for another hotel the next time we visit this area. Not worth the $130.00 we spent for the room.

We frequently travel to Ithaca and use this hotel as a clean, basic overnight stop. It includes a breakfast bar for a quick get away in the morning. The staff is always friendly and helpful too.

since i made a reservation in may they have been billing my credit card ever since. after 3 months of fighting a false charge and getting it off my card they made up a new charge and billed that to my card 4 months later that i now have to fight off all over again. the owner is a private person who has no other relationship to the holiday chain except the name on the sign. i would strongly urge everyone to pass on this hotel and check if private or corporate hotel in the future because once they swipe your credit cards they really think they own them.

Not only where the management staff incompetant, but my wife and I were woken up at 1:30AM, by yelling, cursing, and after calling the front desk twice, it finally stopped at 3AM. We asked for rapid check-out and they never put our bill under the door, the breakfast was so lame, we just wanted to get out as quickly as possible! One of the worst nights Sleep I have ever had at any hotel! When in Schoharie, AVOID THIS PLACE!!
