I would stay here again.
By Irma, 5/10/12
I liked that it was downtown in Jonesboro, next to plenty of shops and places to eat. The staff was very nice. As for the room it was nice, the bed very relaxing. The only downfall was we did not get our wake up calls on the two nights we were there, (thank goodness my husband is a early riser). The breakfast could use some improvements. But I have to stay it was not a bad hotel to stay in. If we ever had to go back we would stay here again.

Worse place I've ever stayed!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/31/11
Absolutely do NOT stay in this hotel. The hotel staff is rude ... we were initially given a room that was not cleaned, then put into another room where the fire alarm was hanging off of the wall, and no towels were in the bathroom. The staff told us that "there was nothing they could do because 26 people were staying at the hotel". Isn't that the business that hotels are in? The next morning, the hotel ran out of food for the continental breakfast by 8:00AM!! No way that this chain is getting any more of MY money!! Be warned, and book elsewhere if at all possible.

I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/6/11
This hotel was dirty. The furniture, couches, chairs, etc looked old and very dirty. The room was dusty and had not been vacumned. A table in the dining area had food crumbs and spilled liquid on it appearing to have been there a while. The elevator was not working and we were not told of that until after we checked in and they had given us an upstairs room away down the hall from the stairway they told us to take.. The outside door at the end of the hall totally away from the front desk was left open, propped with a rock. I removed the rock and closed the door and the next morning it was open again. Anyone, a vagrant, etc. could have sneaked into the hotel. When we checked out, we were not asked how our stay was. They just checked us out and not even a thank you. Needless to say, I will never stay there again when I need to be overnight in Jonesboro. I was staying in Jonesboro because I was havng medical tests the next day. Had I not been ill, I would have checked out the minute I saw the room.

Stay if you want your stuff stolen and broken!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/24/11
Hated this hotel. Very rude front desk staff that attempted to overcharge me and demand additional payment for a prepaid room. Stayed for the pool however was unable to swim any of our days there. The door to the outside was continually left open in 30 degree temps. Complained to staff and they could care less as they were the ones leaving the door open. The worst part however was that both my and my daughters laptops were damaged by cleaning staff. My daughter had the power cord broken off in hers, they ran over my cord with the vacume fraying it and destroying it. Then to top it off my new bottle of pain medication was stolen. The Hotel ignored my complaints and never reimbursed me for my damages.

Worst hotel ever!
By ks, 3/18/10
I was required to stay here while we were opening a new restaurant. We are all from out of town and there really is not laundromats here so we specifically wanted a hotel with a laundry room. At different points the washing machine, dryer and soap dispenser were all out of order. Also, when we checked in our bathroom reeked of pee. Found out it was the shower curtain. When I mentioned it to the front desk I got a nice eye roll. When their "breakfast bar" is empty do not ask one of them about it. It might get in the way of them giving you dirty looks. The vending machines all had one bag of Fritos in them for 4 days. That did make a good picture on my Facebook page. All in all, there is very little I found acceptable about this hotel. Our company will never be back here and I advice you to pay that extra $10 a night and stay somewhere else.

We will not be back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/26/08
My wife and I was celebrating our 5th anniversary. So I thought I would get a room from the Baymont what was I thinking. We stayed in one of the Jacuzzi Suites. The lamp shades were dirty, old and had mold on them, the jacuzzi was dirty and had been painted and the paint was peeling and the walls had something on them and the sheets had black dots on them and the bathroom was not clean. The room was very over priced. I have stayed at some of the finest hotels like the Ritz Carlton, The Westin, etc., and my room rates was no more than $50.00 more than what I paid for this dump. The room only had a king size bed, 2 dirty lamps, a desk, and a bathroom, and a jacuzzi next to the bed. The room should had a sofa, eating table and the other things like a tv, bathroom, etc., especially if you going to call it a suite please. It was just a basic room with a jacuzzi nothing fancy and nothing more or less. I paid $143.00 and the room was plain how stupid I was. It will not happen again I promise

Never again
By Michael, 4/4/08
The young lady at the desk was very helpful and tried to make our stay as comfortable asa possible considering the circumstances. But... The manager of this motel, which is also the manager of the hotel next door, I believe it is Clarion Inn and Suites, should be FIRED. The housekeeping dept. is the about the worse I have ever seen. They report rooms to be clean and then we are sent to find them full of food and filt so we had to check into a different room. This happened twice in one week after renting 6 rooms. There were no wash rags or towels in the room and the clerk had to go to the hotel next door to get them for us(no joking), and the shower was filthy with mold, which my wife is allergic to. We have been in an exercise program and I chose this hotel because it had an exercise room. (Ha, Ha) There was no working equipment in it so I was pretty sluggish when I got home. First time stay, shame on you. Second time stay, Stupid me.

Would Stay Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/21/08
The best part of our stay was the customer service, a lady by the name of Daya was awesome at getting our rooms booked and answering any questions, the other employee's there during our stay were also very nice and helpful. My only complaints are that I thought the rooms could have been a little cleaner and equipped better, the shower was really dirty, one of the rooms did not have a coffee pot and the other room(out of the 2 that we reserved) did not have any trash bags in the trash cans and either room was not supplied very well with things like, cups, coffee supplies etc... but on a brighter note when we called the front desk for these things they were quick to get them for us. Our over all visit was pretty good, we will stay again.

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/4/07
There was a group of six women who had to stay at this hotel for training for a new job. We checked in during three seperate weeks and the following is a list of things wrong with the place: infestitation of ants: One woman had to go to the doctor due to the ant bites becoming infected. When asked for the rooms to be exterminated, we were handed a large jug of spray and told to do it ourselves. One room had several grasshoppers residing in the room. Never did get rid of them. Filthy rooms: fake fingernails in the floor, hair in the bathroom, disgusting stains on comforters, food crumbs in the floor, Very strong smell of marijuana in hallway Front desk staff did not seem to care about our concerns. We were finally able to get our job superiors to change hotels for the remaining several weeks of training.
